The night market has no fixed opening hours. Generally, after 6 pm, booths will come out one after another. In the afternoon 10~ 1 1, some stalls will close slowly. The night market is dominated by fruits, barbecues and other foods, followed by various special souvenirs, specialties and Southeast Asian handicrafts.

Gaozhuang Xi Shuangjing

There are some large night markets in Shuangjing, Zhuangxi, which are divided into starlight night market and lantern market, which are hundreds of meters apart. Starlight Night Market is divided into several areas, in the east and west of Shwedagon Pagoda. The night market is in the south of the Shwedagon Pagoda. There are many colorful things to eat, drink and see in the night market. Besides Dai handicrafts and costumes, there are many small handicrafts made by young artists.

There are also goods and even sellers from different neighboring countries, and the scene is very spectacular. Even in the scorching sun during the day, the river breeze at night is still cool and pleasant because it is close to the Lancang River (Mekong River).
