Are glare, glare and ghost in photography the same thing? And a halo. Ask someone for advice. thank you
Glare refers to the fact that the pictures taken by backlight are directly absorbed by the lens, which leads to over-bright areas in the scene and destroys the normal images.
Halo refers to the effect of halo around a point light source in a photo, which may be beneficial or undesirable. In fact, glare also belongs to an excessive halo.
Ghost, literally translated as ghost, is a unique phenomenon of multi-lens shots in backlight shooting. When shooting in reverse light, a beam of light enters the lens obliquely and will not be directly projected onto the film/sensor for imaging. Due to the reflection between lenses, a light spot can appear on each lens, which will eventually leave a series of light spots on the screen.
The special coating of advanced lenses can effectively reduce halo and ghost phenomenon.
