My Mom and Dad is a beautiful, affectionate and touching love film by Zhang Yimou. This film is Zhang Ziyi's first film, and is known as "the last love song at the end of the century". The film won the Silver Bear Award from the jury of the 50th Berlin International Film Festival, the Humanitarian Spirit Award jointly awarded by Catholicism and Christianity, the Barker Award from the Italian Film Critics Association and the Italian Journalists Association, the Best Film Award, the Best Feature Film Award, the Best Director Award, the Best Photography Award (Hou Yong), the Best Art Award (Juiping Cao) and the 23rd Hundred Flowers Award Best Feature Film Award awarded by the China Government.
