Introduction to undergraduate major of University of Pennsylvania

The undergraduate major of the University of Pennsylvania provides students with courses to cultivate basic skills, knowledge and practical methods of humanities. This paper will introduce three undergraduate majors of the University of Pennsylvania.

Architectural specialty

Architecture majors provide students with courses to cultivate basic skills, knowledge and practical methods of humanities. Although my major is a college of arts and sciences, the courses of studio and theory will be taught by regional planning teachers of architecture, landscape architecture and design.

Art majors

Art majors should study painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, animation and so on. Students must complete five core studios, three art history courses, six art works courses and advanced research projects.

Art history major

The exploration objects of art history include ancient and modern art forms and things commemorating milestones. The University of Pennsylvania is famous for its research on art history and art architecture. The college is committed to stimulating students' potential with innovative ways and means, so that they can go further and further on the road of developing art and visual culture.
