Geographical environment of Jinzhou district

Jinzhou District belongs to hilly area, and the terrain is from north to south, with the mountain range from Xiaoheishan to Daheishan as the central axis, and the mountain range from Daheishan to Dalijiacheng along the Yellow Sea as the eastern part of the supporting axis, which inclines to both sides, forming a stepped terrain with high middle and low wings. Jinzhou District is divided into three areas: central hilly area, eastern hilly area and coastal river alluvial plain area.

1. The hilly area in the middle is an extension of Qian Shan in Changbai Mountain, and Daheishan in the south is the first mountain in the area, with the main peak at an altitude of 663.438+0 meters.

2. The hills and mountains in the east are distributed in a ridged north-south direction, with an altitude of 20-50 meters, belonging to the strata formed by the pre-Sinian system.

3. Coastal river alluvial plain area, extending along the river to the Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea, with flat terrain, with an altitude of about 15 ~ 30m, mainly distributed in the west of Shenyang-Dalian Railway and the area from Daheishan to the south of Taishan Mountain.

These three areas have distinct topography and outstanding characteristics. The peaks are prominent and the rocks are exposed; Hills with gentle slopes and thick soil layers; Plain, sporadic distribution, flat surface.

Rivers in Jinzhou District are mostly seasonal rivers. Because the terrain is high in the middle and low in the wings, there is no passenger water entering the country, the rainy season and dry season are distinct, and the precipitation is concentrated, so the river flow is short. There are only 1 1 rivers entering the sea, with a total length of 204 kilometers and a drainage area of 950 square kilometers. The largest river in Jinzhou District is the Dunsha River, with a total length of 26 kilometers and a drainage area of 229.2 square kilometers. Dengshahe originates from Xiaoheishan in Xiang Ying Town and Erlong Mountain in Pulandian, and flows into Tai 'ao in the Yellow Sea saltworks.
