Can we camp in Rongbu Temple?
The full name of Rongbu Temple is Ladui Chalongbu East Akerlin Temple, which belongs to Ma Ning Temple in Tibet. It is located at the top of Dumu Mountain in Zhuo Ma on the east and west sides of Xiarongbugou, south of Mount Everest in Dingri County, Shigatse Prefecture, Tibet.

Rongbu Temple, now there are eight affiliated small temples under the main temple, including a nun. Because the Rongbu Temple is about 20 kilometers away from the top of Mount Everest, it has become the base camp for climbing Mount Everest from the north slope. Looking south from here, it is an excellent place to watch and photograph Mount Everest. There is a turning path around Rongbu Temple.
There is a stage with carved beams and painted buildings in front of Rongbu Temple. Every important festival, local people will come here to watch Lama performances. The Mani stone pile outside the door is usually used by photographers as a foreground for shooting Mount Everest. During 1983, the temple experienced a large-scale construction. The murals here are worth watching carefully.
