I am so confused whether to buy Nikon D7000 or D5200D5200 kit

I would like to give you some advice based on my own experience. I am not trying to criticize you, but I am eager to share my feelings.

First of all, let’s briefly talk about the biggest difference between D7000 and D5200. D7000 has a balanced quality, with body motor and shoulder screen, but the price is slightly higher. The D5200 has high resolution, no motor, no shoulder screen, the main screen can be flipped, and it is cheap.

It is precisely because of this comparison that I will briefly talk about my thoughts on purchasing a camera at that time and my thoughts now. It was April 2012, and the price of the D7000 set was over 10,000 yuan. For me who had just learned SLR He said that he felt that the investment was too high at once, so he chose the D5100 after balancing. However, he regretted it after a month, mainly from three aspects. First, Nikon was cutting prices across the board. Second, the D5100 did not have a motor, and there were many cheaper ones. The lens cannot be used. Thirdly, there is no shoulder screen, which is not very convenient. Gradually, as my photography knowledge and understanding of equipment deepened, I felt that D5100 was really too much for beginners. If you want to play SLR, you must start from the mid-range.

Of course, now I have changed to D800. Among the previous lenses, only one 50mm F1.4G can be used, and the others have been gradually replaced.

If you are just a beginner, it is the best time to buy a mid-range machine while Nikon prices are falling across the board. If there are good parallel import channels, the D7000 kit should be around 6,500.

By the way, to add to the point above, the so-called D7000 surpasses the D7000 in many aspects, I am afraid many people do not think so. Whether it is the workmanship of the body, the motor, or the focusing system, it may not be comparable to the D7000. It has high resolution and a good image processor, which is better than the D7000, but for beginner photographers, I think the core parts are not as good as the D7000.
