What metering mode does the portrait use?

The commonly used metering mode is central area metering, and the most important thing in portrait shooting is the correct exposure of people, especially faces.

However, in some special occasions, such as shooting snow scenes or taking some dark photos, spot metering is also used to select the face of the model for metering, so as to obtain an ideal picture.

Photometric mode refers to the way to test the reflectivity of camera objects. The optical signal is sent to the processor of the digital camera for analysis. The processor will adjust the exposure value according to the reflectivity of the object. Professional photographers will actually check their exposure value with gray cards and photometers.
