How to make photos "transparent"?

There are many mysterious words in photography, such as details, tension, transparency, cream blurring, German flavor, oiliness and so on.

Some people often talk about them, but they don't know what they mean.

In fact, these words must have appeared for a reason, but they have lost their authenticity because of overuse.

Today, I will briefly explain the word "transparency".

To sum up, transparency is mainly related to five factors.

Contrast, brightness, color, saturation, sharpness, of course, what I have listed are only the main influencing factors, which are also related to many other factors. What I have said below is only the general situation.

First, contrast.

The former pixels are mainly concentrated in the middle tone, which belongs to the low contrast histogram.

The latter pixel distribution is relatively uniform. Compared with the previous photos, it can be realized by shifting pixels to both sides through the S curve.

The contrast can be dimmed, the black-and-white contrast of the picture will be more obvious, and the light and shadow changes more violently, giving people a more "transparent" feeling.

Second, brightness.

If the brightness of the picture is higher, it will give people a feeling of lighter quality. For example, in people's visual experience, people will feel that the petals of this flower are relatively thin, so it will give people a transparent feeling.

Third, color.

People's ability to receive different colors is different. For example, the human eye is more sensitive to green than other colors, which will affect our judgment on the transparency of the picture (the more sensitive, the clearer and more transparent it looks).

Fourth, saturation.

The higher the saturation and purity of a color, the stronger the stimulation to people. Therefore, relatively high saturation will give people the illusion that I can see the goods clearly, so saturation is also one of the influencing factors.
