Sony earlier announced the launch of the PXW-Z150, a lightweight 4K video recorder for professional broadcast-level image production in Taiwan, emphasizing that it has a 1-inch element and 18x zoom G Lens optical lens, and also has broadcast-level 4K 30P Picture quality.

PXW-Z150 is equipped with a 20MP stacked Exmor RS 1-inch CMOS element, which provides 18x optical zoom in 4K and 24x zoom in Full HD quality. It also has 4-level ND. Filters and built-in WiFi can be used for real-time streaming of images, FTP upload or remote control with mobile devices.

In order to meet the needs of professional broadcasters, PXW-Z150 can support MPEG2HD (50Mbps / 35Mbps) and Sony's XAVC or AVCHD formats, and can support 120fps high-speed photography. The body also provides 3G-SDI , XLR audio terminals, HDMI, microUSB, RCA and other terminal interfaces, and provides dual SDXC / SDHC memory card slots, and has two storage modes: connection and synchronization.

The body is equipped with a 0.39-inch 1440K OLED electronic viewing window and a 3.5-inch 1550K LCD.
