Polarizers are most useful for taking color photos. Adding a polarizer to aerial photography of ships will eliminate the facula formed on the surface of ships and the halo phenomenon caused by sunlight on the water surface. The gradient mirror is a kind of compact mirror which gradually changes from dark color to light color. Because of its different hue, its absorption spectrum range and light quantity are also different. In aerial photography, the distance between the distant view and the close view is very different, and the height of smoke will cause uneven illumination on the image surface. Choosing gradient mirror can not only reduce the influence of different degrees of smoke, but also compensate the uneven illumination on the image surface.
