After all creative personnel have been selected, the producer must arrange for each creative department to engage in preparation work according to the shooting plan. Specifically, during the preparation period, each department must complete the following preparations:

(1)? Director's Department

The director polishes the script. In fact, no director shoots exactly according to the script, unless the script is written by the director himself. The director creates the storyboard script and reflects the creative intention in the storyboards. The director communicates and discusses the creation with the main creative staff to ensure that there is a unified artistic vision to guide the preparation work. Before the official start of filming, the director will also give a director's explanation to all the staff in order to unify the creative ideas.

(2) Photography Department

The photographer, lighting engineer and director look at the scenery together and design the shooting techniques and lighting methods of some scenes in advance. The photography team should provide the production team with a list of required photography equipment and inspect the rental photography equipment for trial use. The lighting team should provide the production team with a list of required lighting and check the rental lighting equipment.

(3) Art Department

Provide guidance and design for the creation of various departments such as art, scenery, props, makeup, and costumes, so that all staff can achieve the aesthetic style of the film ***Consciousness, unified creative ideas. The artist brings applicable location photos back to the crew and accompanies the director, photography, lighting and other departments to view and set the scene. There should not be too many scenic spots, nor should they be too scattered, and the distance between the scenic spots should not be too long to facilitate centralized shooting. The art, scenery, and props departments work together to complete the preparation of the shooting scene. When the conditions for live shooting are not met, artificial scenery must be set up.

(4)? Sound Recording Department

The sound engineer communicates with the director to design the sound effects of the entire play. The sound engineer and other creative staff look at the scenery together and have a good idea of ??the recording conditions of the location they are about to enter. The recording department provides the production team with a list of required equipment, and inspects and tries out the rental recording equipment.

(5)? Production Department

The production director and on-site producer will inspect the scene with the director. When selecting the scene, they must meet the requirements of the script and understand the traffic conditions and location of the scene. Climate conditions, communication conditions, food and accommodation conditions, etc., be aware of how to arrange the shooting plan and how to mobilize the staff on site to cooperate with the shooting. At the same time, you are also responsible for negotiating the terms of use and signing a contract with the person in charge of the selected venue. The production department develops the shooting plan.

Finally, the scripts are printed and distributed to ensure that each creative department has one or two sets of scripts. With all the actors in place, we can prepare for the opening ceremony.
