Is Baodu Village worth going to? The most "worth visiting" scenic spot in China is Baoduzhai. It is said that it is the most "worthwhile" scenic spot, because it is not only free for all tourists, but also hides a 300-meter waterfall.

You can see this waterfall spewing out from the cracks in the rock and falling into the lake with a drop of 300 meters. Surrounded by lush forests, it brings infinite vitality to the surrounding area and adds a sense of tranquility to this place.

In addition to this beautiful waterfall, this village is also very distinctive. Baodu Village is surrounded by mountains on three sides. It feeds on water and is built by mountains. Everyone has settled in this village.

Isn't such a scenic spot a conscience? Not only are tickets free, but there is such a high waterfall landscape and the surrounding environment is so quiet. If it had been changed to another place, it would have charged a high fee.

Baodu Village, located at the junction of Henan (Huixian) and Shanxi (Lingchuan), is a small village with only seven families on the mountainside of South Taihang Mountain, and it is also a rare village in China that has no access to roads.

However, the scenery around the village is extremely beautiful and the mountains are steep. In addition, "impassability" and "cliff waterfall" have attracted many outdoor sports and professional photographers at home and abroad in recent years.

The road of Baodu Village has been difficult since ancient times, and it is inaccessible. Narrow paths and ladders in the canyon are the only way out. Many sections are cut on cliffs, which are extremely steep. If you are not careful, you may fall off a cliff or slide into a deep pool.

Because the ancestors chose to live there, livestock could not enter, so the villagers had to bring the calf into the village with their arms. When calves grow up and breed, there are already livestock in the village, which are not used for breeding, so they are named "holding calves".

No one knows when the first resident of Baodu Village moved in. Baodu Village has been hidden in Taihang Mountain since ancient times, and many surrounding areas have been developed into scenic spots. However, due to the steep terrain and the villagers' refusal, it has been far away from the noise and maintained its original and quiet.

Baodu village is surrounded by mountains on three sides, with water as its neighbor, built by mountains and densely populated.

This is simply a stone village. Since ancient times, almost every household in the village has been a stonemason. The house is stone, the ground is stone, the wall is stone, and there are stone mills, stone benches, stone stoves, stone troughs and so on.

Although Baodu Village is a sea of stones, it is different from other Taihang Mountain dwellings in that except for a few people whose roofs are slate, most of them are small gray tiles.

The open space beside the valley in front of the village is a terraced field cultivated by the villagers, and the simple villagers hide the village in the green fruit forest, just like a paradise.

For a long time, there was no road under the mountain. The contact between villagers and the outside world depends on climbing and swimming up and down the cliff, which takes a lot of time and is extremely dangerous to go outside. A few years ago, the relevant departments of Huixian County, Henan Province, which is closest to Baodu Village, installed Bubugun elevator and iron escalator on two cliffs more than ten kilometers away from Baodu Village, which brought certain convenience to Baodu villagers and tourists in terms of security in and out of Baodu Village.

In recent years, the village has installed a hoist on the cliff near the nearest Laolongkou and welded an iron cage with a height of 800 meters, which can lift 800 kilograms of goods at a time, which is more convenient.

You need to buy things in Huixian County, Henan Province, and then hire a tricycle from Henan to pull it to the bottom of the cliff at the end of the ravine in Baligou Scenic Area, and then lift it down from the cliff. This is convenient and labor-saving for villagers who have been isolated from the world for thousands of years.

At present, there are several routes to travel here, namely Shanxi and Henan, but any route requires you to have good physique and foot strength.

In my opinion, the most convenient and safest route is also the route I took when I set foot in Baodu Village twice: driving Xinxiang, Henan Province-Baligou, Huixian County-changing to the elevator entrance on the cliff-taking the elevator to the top of the cliff-turning right after getting out of the elevator and starting to walk, crossing the Taihang trail in the virgin forest. If it's fast, you can reach the photo shooting place of Baodu Village in about one hour and fifty minutes.

Tell you quietly, during the two-hour walk, the path is quiet, absolutely natural oxygen bar, and all kinds of mushrooms on the roadside are bent over. Because this ancient road is always on the edge of the cliff, the scenery with Taihang characteristics is unobstructed, and many award-winning photography masterpieces also come from this path. The cover of this article was shot at the beginning of walking on a path, which is on the edge of a cliff, but it is very safe because there are many shrubs and trees.

I stayed at Baodu Farmhouse twice and looked at the outdoor donkey friends from all over the country. I understand that many network teams or family teams have walked on rugged and steep mountain roads for one day or more than four or five hours through other high-intensity lines before reaching this paradise (outdoor donkey walking means saving money and exercising at the same time). I often feel envious and admired in my heart. It's a pity that I feel inferior and bear the burden (photographic equipment), so I can only wait and see from a distance!

In the process of shooting, I met several outdoor crossing teams, including Jiangsu, Jiangxi and Shandong. In the picture, these backpackers are members of an outdoor team in Beijing. I took many photos of them and sent them to the protagonist himself. They all followed, hehe.

By the way, in Baodu village, there are already farmers who can receive tourists. Folk customs are simple and accommodation is not expensive, but if you want to be corrupt, farmers will still satisfy you.

There is basically no cell phone signal in Baodu Village, but there is WIFI.
