I study movies. I have seen this movie. The director is Hanneck, a Frenchman. His other film was Palme d 'Or and White Ribbon last year. These two films are of the same genre, both of which are variant suspense. His wife is more frank than he is, but she also cheated on George, which makes her accusations against George even more hypocritical. When George angrily accused Majid of trying to destroy his life and family and threatened revenge, the latter replied, "I believe you, but you don't believe me."

The film's implications for politics are equally profound. There are a large number of African Arab immigrants in French society, but they have never been able to integrate into mainstream society. What responsibility should the French middle class, represented by George, bear? "You deprived my father of his right to a good education." The estrangement between races led to the subsequent conflict. To some extent, we have to say that this is self-inflicted.
