When did photographer Chen Shuyuan die?

Died in 2020. Chen Shuyuan, 1923, from tanghe county, Nanyang. /kloc-0 joined the army art troupe in March, 1949, and/kloc-0 became the first pioneer to enter the northwest Gobi desert in February, 1990. In the meantime, his lens never left the PLA officers and men who worked hard in the desert and China's nuclear test process. It can be said that Chen Shuyuan recorded the development history of China's nuclear test with a camera. He has taken more than 20,000 historical photos of Zhang Zhengui, such as the sandstorm, the first flat tunnel test in China, the first atomic bomb explosion in China and the first hydrogen bomb explosion in China, and has become a veritable witness to the development of nuclear tests in China.

1996, China nuclear test base issued a set of six commemorative medals for China's nuclear weapons test, and the front of each commemorative medal was a photo taken by Chen Shuyuan about the nuclear test. According to Chen Shuyuan's introduction on the development of China Nuclear Test Base, Peng Jichao and Chen jointly created the screenplay "Ma Lanchao", which was later adapted into the film "Born Out".

During his 30-year military career in the northwest desert, he took more than 20,000 photos of Zhang Zhengui with his camera, which clearly recorded the development history of China's nuclear test. After retiring, someone offered 500 thousand to buy his photo, but he refused. However, when China People's Revolutionary Military Museum wanted to collect his collection for free, he donated hundreds of photos at a time. General Zhang Aiping, who has forged a deep friendship with him, praised: "What a second child!"

This "Chen" is a retired cadre who lives in the Second Army of Nanyang City, Henan Province. He often works in Nanyang photography circle, but I don't know how it is going.
