Does the function of DJI DJI flying glasses work well?

DJI goggles adopt dual 1920× 1080 high-resolution display screen, combined with OcuSync high-definition image transmission technology, so that the wearer can enjoy a hearty FPV first-angle flight experience. The touchpad and somatosensory control optimized for head-mounted devices bring a control experience with integrated thinking. Seamless integration with the panoramic function of DJI aircraft presents a VR panoramic view, as if you are overlooking the vast world in the air [1]. Rich multimedia playback functions make audio-visual more shocking.

Long-distance high-definition image transmission

The new OcuSync wireless image transmission technology makes the connection between DJI flying glasses and Mavic Pro have excellent stability. With OcuSync, Mavic Pro can connect up to two flying glasses and two remote controls at the same time. The video resolution of 1080p/720p[2] and the delay as low as 1 10ms[3] can bring clear and stable flight picture display and accurate real-time control feedback. 360 omni-directional receiving range [4] makes signal transmission leave no dead angle and ensures reliable flight. When you go out with your companions, you can use your own flying glasses and remote control, and you can also watch the exciting flying pictures with high immersion at the same time.

High resolution dual display screen

DJI flying glasses are equipped with two high-resolution display screens, and the monocular resolution is 1920× 1080. However, VR products on the market usually have only one screen. Even if the screen resolution is as high as 2560x 1440, only 1280x 1440 pixels will be projected to a single eye after split screen. If we want to adapt to the general ratio of video works 16:9, the effective screen area will be further reduced to 1/4 of the whole screen, and the effective pixels will be further reduced to 1280x720. Compared with this, the effective pixel of flying glasses can reach 2.25 times that of 2K single-screen scheme.

Clear image quality

Through unique optical design and high-quality screen, DJI flying glasses solve the stubborn problem in VR products-"screen window effect", ensuring that the wearer can enjoy clear image quality and excellent immersion. In the outdoor with strong sunshine, its natural light blocking design can effectively avoid the interference of strong light on the display screen.

Somatosensory control

Head motion control [1] brings a more direct and simple operation experience to the wearer. After selecting the somatosensory control pan/tilt or airplane in the shortcut menu of flying glasses, you can control the pan/tilt rotation of the airplane or camera by moving your head left and right or up and down. For example, using the nose to control the plane to rotate 360 degrees in the horizontal direction can easily observe the surrounding environment.

Flexible flight control

DJI flying glasses have rich and flexible control methods, which can not only turn the head to control the heading of the plane or the orientation of the pan-tilt camera, but also use the five-dimensional button on the Mavic Pro remote control or the touch pad on the side of the fuselage to achieve more complex and accurate flight operation.

Intelligent flight mode

Using the intelligent flying function of DJI flying glasses, you will further appreciate the wonders of flying: different from the left-right translation, straight up and down flight, the fixed-wing mode can provide the pilot with a flying experience similar to that of a fixed-wing aircraft. Overlapping with somatosensory mode can also make manipulation more interesting. Just move the head to complete or hover, or slide realistic flight movements [5], and experience the smoothness of driving. Not only that, with the help of AR trajectory auxiliary line, the aircraft can avoid obstacles on the route with high probability, and ensure the safety of the fuselage while flying smoothly. You can also experience a lot of flying fun through intelligent following, pointing flight, terrain following, image mode, tripod mode and one-button take-off/return.

Comfortable wearing design

The exquisite head-mounted design of DJI flying glasses makes the overall weight of glasses evenly distributed on the wearer's head, reducing the wearing pressure, and it is not easy to feel tired even after long-term use. The open silicone gasket and sufficient internal space allow users wearing myopia glasses to watch directly without taking off their glasses, which ensures the comfort of watching. Because of its reversible structure, you can see the real world just by lifting the main body of the glasses upward. Due to the unique quick-release design, the headband can be taken off with a gentle press and pull, and put into a special backpack to carry with you.

Rich peripheral interfaces

Through a series of rich peripheral interfaces, DJI flying glasses can realize a variety of usage scenarios.

Micro USB: Connect the remote controllers of Mavic Air, Spark, Phantom 4 series and Inspire 2 series through the Micro USB interface to control these aircrafts. [ 1]

Micro SD card interface: you can directly play videos of various formats in the SD card through flying glasses [6], and you can also browse panoramic pictures with a picture resolution of up to 6000x3000.

HDMI input interface: Connect media playback devices such as TV boxes through HDMI interface, and input wonderful videos into flying glasses to create a private cinema mode; Connect the remote control of Phantom 4 series or Inspire series aircraft? [1], and easily extend the FPV flight perspective to these aircraft.

Audio interface: plug headphones into the audio interface on the side of the fuselage or listen to the original sound of the video directly through the speaker to make the viewing experience more complete.

[1] DJI goggles can support Mavic series, Spark series, Phantom 4 series and Inspire series, and the specific functions will be adjusted according to the characteristics of different aircraft.

[2] No interference in the near field. The image transmission format in HD mode is 1080p/30fps, and it will automatically switch to 720p/30 fps when the channel quality becomes worse. In smooth mode, the image transmission format is kept at 720p/60fps. The optimal resolution can be switched according to the usage scene.

[3] In the near-field interference-free environment, Mavic Pro is used to measure in 720p/60fps image transmission format and 720p/ 120fps video recording format.

[4] Two built-in antennas of DJI flying glasses are located in front of the fuselage, and the other two are placed inside the back headband, providing 360 omnidirectional receiving range. At the same time, please abide by relevant laws and regulations. When flying FPV with DJI goggles, please be sure to be accompanied and fly within sight.

[5] Fixed-wing mode does not support inverted flight.

[6] Only videos in MP4, MOV and MKV formats are supported, and the resolution is 1080p60 and below.
