How to choose a UV mirror?

The factors to be considered are: 1. Clarity (flatness); Second, the light transmittance.

The former is only known when it has been filmed, and the latter can be seen in front of the camera. Its reflection is usually blue-green and so on. Generally, the less reflection, the better the transmittance and the better the quality, and the transmittance will reach over 99%.

At present, the common low-cost and practical foreign brands on the market are Kengo PRO 1D, UV (O)MC, HOYA UV(C)MC and so on. And domestic brands include Kaiser, Phoenix, Ness, etc. Generally speaking, the 77MM UV price of the above brands will not exceed that of 200 yuan.

As for high-end brands, there are Zeiss T*, B+W, Kengo ZETA, HOYA HD and so on. [HASE and Phoenix (EX) in China also have high positioning], but the price is generally higher, and sometimes the original price will be more expensive than the low-end lens. So if it's not a very important shot, you don't have to assemble these.

Of course, even if the cost performance is high, MC (multi-layer coating) should be considered. The quality of UV that is too cheap is hard to say, and most of the quality is hard to guarantee.

Generally, the UV(O) and HOYA UV(C) of Kengo are relatively balanced choices. The quality is not bad, and it is not too expensive. Otherwise, the domestic Phoenix EX will do. I recently bought a piece of MC UV II from HASE and tried it out. There seems to be no quality loss. I think all of the above can be done, just choose a relatively cheap and acceptable one.
