How to deal with aircraft carriers

Saturation attack was a tactic of the Soviet Union in 1970s and 1980s. It is an old technology to launch hundreds of missiles at a time, making it impossible for the US aircraft carrier battle group to intercept them.

In response to this move, the United States studied the Aegis system. Phased array radar+vertical missile silo+short-range dense array system, the whole aircraft carrier battle group can easily find each other's attack, and then it may intercept at the speed of launching more than one missile per second, which exceeds the speed of the attacker launching missiles through saturation attack (saturation attack can not launch hundreds of missiles in an instant, but can also launch missiles continuously). Short-range dense array system can eliminate the fish that escape the net, so it can be said that saturation attack is completely restrained.

The Soviet Union also has its own methods, and anti-ship missiles tend to be large-scale and supersonic. The total weight of the anti-ship missile is close to 7, the warhead weight also exceeds 1 ton, and the terminal speed exceeds Mach 3.5. American interceptor missiles are obviously not strong enough for these big guys. American interceptor missiles are intercepted by the debris generated by the explosion, and they are unable to cope with this overweight and ultra-fast anti-ship missile.

China is probably the same train of thought. Our legendary eagle strike 12, the legendary warhead weighs 1.2 tons, and the terminal speed is above Mach 6, which is 2000 meters per second. It is difficult to intercept, as long as it hits, it will be reimbursed for an aircraft carrier.

There is also strong electromagnetic interference. As long as the electromagnetic and electronic conditions in the surrounding waters are very complicated. After all, the target intercepted by the American aircraft carrier is a missile flying at ultra-high speed and low altitude, while the target of our missile is to hit a slow aircraft carrier. Obviously, it is easier for us to hit the target.

Of course, Eagle Strike 12 is only a model at the air show, but I believe China should have this or similar missiles. After all, the Taiwan Province Strait crisis is imminent, and it is impossible not to formulate countermeasures against the US aircraft carrier.
