Painter Xu Dinggang: Learn from foreigners to control foreigners.

China's calligraphy has a long history, ever-changing calligraphy style and unique artistic charm. In the recorded history of the Chinese nation for more than 5,000 years, calligraphy has always exuded unique artistic charm. It is difficult for a person without hobbies and independent thinking to create good works. There is no shortage of ornamental calligraphy works in our time, but moving works of art. Xu Dinggang, a famous calligrapher, has brought his works into life and will give more enlightenment to contemporary calligraphy with his unique calligraphy and artistic perception.

Xu Dinggang, No.,male, from Yanyuan County, Liangshan, Sichuan. The founder of Yimingzhai Painting and Calligraphy Training Room in Yanyuan County is now a member of the Calligraphers Association of Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province, a member of Liangshan Artists Association and a famous painter. He studied in the temporary calligraphy class hosted by He, vice chairman of China Calligraphers Association and chairman of Sichuan Calligraphers Association for five consecutive periods. He was also carefully guided by the famous calligraphers Huang and Huang Fu in Yanyuan County. In 2004, the first calligraphy and painting contest of thousands of migrant workers in Yanyuan County, his works were well received by netizens on the Internet and won 22 places. In 2005, Yanyuan County Calligraphy and Painting Competition won the third prize for calligraphy works and the second prize for painting. In 2006, the first temporary post exhibition in Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province, his work Wang Xizhi's Preface to Lanting was lucky enough to enter the exhibition and was praised by many famous calligraphers. In 2008, he participated in the painting and calligraphy photography exhibition in Yanyuan County. His paintings and calligraphy works have been recognized by famous painters from all walks of life and praised by the broad masses of the people. His works have been reported by dozens of media such as Consumer Daily, China New Media Information Network, Times Documentary Network and Sohu.com. ..

In the field of painting and calligraphy, he is a stubborn and respectable painter who combines articles with the times and poems with things. Adhere to the understanding that "calligraphy and painting works should be loved by the people", and do not follow the trend or follow the trend; I firmly believe that there is no shortcut to calligraphy creation, and calligraphy creation should be responsible. I work hard and try not to make up for it.

"The mountain is now cold and blue, and the autumn water has flowed for a day." 10 On the morning of the Double Ninth Festival, accompanied by friends, the time documentary finally met Mr. Xu Dinggang. In Mr. Xu Dinggang's home, Xu Dinggang is wearing a black cloak coat, with a moderate figure and a firm and wise look in his eyes. Walking into his studio, the walls are covered with works such as four feet, eight feet, Zhang Er, fan, dou Fang, etc., with a wide range of contents, including calligraphy, painting, bronzing, famous sayings, Buddhist scriptures and so on. Regular script, fluent and correct, rigorous statutes; Small letters, such as strings of pearl necklaces, are full of energy; Running script, moving like a rabbit, agile like a dragon; Running grass, such as changeable melody, clever brushwork and rainbow-like momentum.

After a few pleasantries, the enthusiastic xu teacher took out the aged Pu 'er, and the old tea was gradually awakened by living water. Between a cup of tea and a pot of water, the three of them talked calmly about tea ceremony and calligraphy. He is gentle, knowledgeable, and full of laughter, and expounds his "painting and calligraphy life" incisively and vividly.

In Xu Dinggang's life, calligraphy and painting grew with him! Young Xu Dinggang's family is poor, and pens, ink, paper and inkstone are rare luxuries in his family. During the conversation, his father told us, "Ding Gang likes to practice calligraphy since he was a child, but our family is poor. When he was a child, he didn't have the money to buy paper to practice calligraphy, so I picked up old newspapers by the county road to practice for him. Year after year, day after day ...

Hearing this, we suddenly understand that Xu Dinggang's achievements are not accidental, but the inevitable result of his perseverance and unremitting efforts. It is this hard-working learning spirit that keeps him writing for decades. Since the calligraphy of lin xi Yan and Liu Kai, I have been reading the classic inscriptions handed down from ancient masters, Sun, Mi Fei and Chu Suiliang. The cursive scripts mainly include Preface to Lanting Collection by Wang Xizhi, Preface to Huairen Shengjiao, Song of Grass Juege and Book Score by Sun. While constantly creating calligraphy works, he systematically studied and studied calligraphy theory and China, and gradually formed his own unique artistic style.

Talking and laughing, my friend suggested that xu teacher show off his talents on the spot. A few minutes later, a magnificent eight-character "Chongyang ascends high, filial to the world" came to our eyes, and we did not agree with his generosity and atmosphere. As the saying goes, "For a thousand readers, there are a thousand Hamlets", so is the art of calligraphy. Everyone's aesthetic appreciation angle is different, and the feeling will naturally be different. Art is full of flowers and diversity. The charm of calligraphy is precisely because of the different personalities of calligraphers, showing people different styles of pen and ink treasures. Mr. Xu Dinggang's book is elegant in Mo Yun and indifferent in poetic style. With the pen tip flowing for thousands of years, the eternal spirit of calligraphy and the changes of the times, I have been searching up and down, constantly breaking through innovation, and galloping freely in my own calligraphy, full of lofty sentiments. I suddenly remembered this sentence: the rhyme of sunrise is thousands of years, and there are thousands of emotions on the Lanting ground. Looking at Mr. Xu Dinggang's pen splashing is like looking at the soldiers on the battlefield of ancient generals. He writes freely, magnificently and incisively. We can't think of a more appropriate word to describe Mr. Xu Dinggang. In a word, "a wonderful pen gives birth to flowers, and Dan Qing shines on China."

"In my decades of calligraphy art, I met many mentors and friends. I think Miss Huang has the greatest influence on me. He strives for perfection in art and is really proficient in cursive script. Although he is old, he is still in the swimming pool. It is also very strict with me. The teacher's tireless pursuit of the spirit of art always infects and inspires me to keep moving forward on the road of calligraphy. " Xu Dinggang said that.

In contemporary times, it is actually very difficult to set an artistic standard for books. Today's calligraphy art is not decided by today's people, but confirmed by later generations after repeated comments. In fact, the distress of contemporary people about standards is not the distress of theory, but the distress of facing works. In other words, what kind of works are good works? After each exhibition selection, people doubt or even deny the authority of the selection. I think the so-called standard problem. To some extent, it is the loss of standard authority, not the loss of standard. The standard has always been there-as far as the traditional style is concerned, the works of two kings (Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi) and Su Huang Camouflage (Su Shi, Huang Tingjian, Mi Fei and Cai Jing) are all there for everyone to see, unlike only a few people in ancient times. Those standards are those of ancient literati, but there is no literati group in the traditional sense in contemporary times, and neither the author nor the judges attending the exhibition are traditional literati. Therefore, in fact, it is the literati standard that has an authority crisis in the contemporary era.

Calligraphy works of art are both works of art and commodities, which is the * * * nature of modern works of art. There is no single work of art, not only calligraphy works, but all works of art are the same. The ancients often said that works of art are priceless, which shows that all works of art are valuable. If they are not commodities, there is no such thing as value. As a calligrapher himself, no one wants to lower his artistic level for the benefit. Therefore, there is no contradiction between collection and commerce. They complement each other and promote each other. Mr. Xu Dinggang said.

Time documentary: How many students come to study in your current calligraphy training institution? What message do you have for your students?

Teacher Xu Dinggang: My current calligraphy training class is in the red, yellow and blue kindergarten in Yanyuan County. Now there are almost 100 students. Come to my place to learn calligraphy every Sunday. For every calligraphy learner, there is no shortcut to calligraphy art, so we can only study hard from the basic skills. Draw artistic nutrition from ancient posts, strive to enrich your knowledge, and gradually form your own artistic style. At the same time, we should strengthen the cultivation of ancient prose, poetry, art, music and other related arts, enrich our external skills and make our calligraphy art more colorful.

Through the understanding of contemporary calligrapher Xu Dinggang, we have a further and more unique view on China's calligraphy. China's calligraphy, a long-standing and immortal cultural treasure, was written by Mr. Xu Dinggang. The handwriting is very good, which blends everyone's different artistic conception. It feels like the first ray of sunshine in the morning, bright and beautiful.

He is willing to use the brush in his hand to carry forward the quintessence of the motherland; I prefer to use this pen in my hand to help more people and myself realize our Chinese dream!
