Chongqing Airport is called Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport.

Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport is located in Yubei District, 2 1 km northeast of Chongqing suburb. On October 26th, 2003/KLOC-0, Chongqing Airport Group Co., Ltd. was established on the basis of Chongqing Civil Aviation Administration, and joined Capital Airport Group Corporation on April 28th, 2004.

Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport/KLOC-0 was completed and put into use on October 22nd, 1990. On August 29th, 20 17, with the completion and commissioning of China Eastern Airlines Station Area and the third runway project, the level of the flight area was upgraded to 4F.

Chongqing Airport has three runways (the first runway is 3200m long, the second runway is 3600m long and the third runway is 3800m long). * * * The three terminals are 737,000 square meters (including 20,000 square meters for T/KLOC-0, 80,000 square meters for T2/KLOC-0 and 537,000 square meters for T3).

Chongqing airport special service

From 20 11June1day, Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport officially opened the online check-in service, becoming the second airport in China and the first airport in the west to open the online check-in service after Shenzhen Airport. Since then, the airport has successively introduced convenient check-in methods such as self-service check-in, WeChat check-in and all-in-one check-in to reduce the waiting time for passengers to go to the manual counter.

Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport has set up dozens of self-service check-in machines in the airport terminal, and it is also equipped with self-service check-in machines in the terminals of cities around Chongqing. Passengers can choose their seats and confirmation information on the self-service check-in machine with valid certificates, and finally print their boarding passes.
