What's the difference between DX and APS-C?

The difference between DX and APS-C:

1, DX lens cannot be used for traditional film cameras and Nikon's new FX format Quan Huafu digital SLR D3 camera. DX lens is specially optimized for digital SLR of APS. If it is used on traditional film or full-width D3, the four corners of the photoreceptor or film will not be exposed due to optical elements, resulting in dark corners. In actual use, the focal length of the lens should be multiplied by the lens coefficient of 1.5.

2.APS-C (English: Advanced Photo System type-C, abbreviated as APS-C) is translated into Advanced Photography System Type C, which is one of the specifications of image sensors used in digital cameras. Aps is positioned in the amateur consumer market. Aps designers changed the single-frame format of 135 system and designed three kinds in order to improve the public's interest in photography.

(c, h, p) Film frame: H-type is the whole frame (30.3× 16.6mm), and the aspect ratio is16: 9;

Type C is at one end of the left and right ends of the whole frame, and the length-width ratio is 3:2, which is the same as that of 135 film;

P mode is called panoramic mode, which blocks the upper and lower sides of the whole picture one by one, so that the aspect ratio of the picture is 3: 1.
