In her illness, Master is always diligent, brave and determined, and willing to survive in the West. I often start doing morning classes at two o'clock in the morning, visualize praying with all sentient beings, and then sit down and meditate on the Five Classics of Pure Land. In addition to setting up classes, I spend all my time worshipping, chanting and painting Buddha, training myself to focus on Buddha as much as possible.

According to the classic description and principle, Master painted five 8-foot-high statues of Amitabha to comfort my wife's wandering mind. I hope that patients suffering from insomnia in every corner of her sickbed can overcome their troubles and be full of joy because they believe in Buddhism and pray for blessings. So, at the request of Wang Jiong, the former president of Taichung Lotus Society, she wrote the self-report of "Painting Buddha's karma": a Buddha statue painted by an "outsider" is meaningless to an expert, and can only be said to be a history of cancer patients trying to break through physical and mental fatigue; It is the bloody and tearful course of many merciful bodhisattvas and friends who encourage the post-school students to survive the bitter test of life; It is also a heart sinking into five turbidity and filth, looking back at the pure land; It is a sweet way home to listen to the call of Amitabha. ...

Deliberate, lotus fragrance-I implore you to "look back at the Lingshan where your mother-in-law is worried"

Although Master went diving in the mountains, she still felt Master Shangyun's enthusiasm for protecting young people from learning Buddhism for many years. Therefore, when Master Qian kindly instructed her to make a video to encourage her seniors to fast, she was feverish and vomited every day and was encouraged to respond to this matter. Burning three arms in front of the Buddha, sleepless, regardless of abdominal pain, bloody collapse and fever, recorded a photo script, which was later recorded as a video of "Please look back at Lingshan, where my aunt is concerned". Every word and sentence in it is to do our best to care for all beings and persuade bodhicitta. When she was exhausted, she burned her arm again, which revived her overdraft spirit and said, "I have never counted my deaths from birth to death, so I must die for the protection of all beings and Buddhism ... as long as I can help the suffering soul overcome many difficulties, I will try my best to do it." If I have ten efforts, I will try my best to be sincere. " I advised her to have a little rest, but she replied, "I'm sorry, I only have one life to sacrifice for Buddhism!" " 」

Master's actions and spirit not only deeply touched Buddhists, but also deeply realized the endless compassion of Buddhists and Bodhisattvas. Master can ignore his mental illness and ask for no comfort, just to make the fasting seniors realize the hardships of life and death as soon as possible and cultivate the Holy Way. Isn't this what Buddha and Bodhisattva want to save our hearts? Buddhists and Bodhisattvas will save us from wandering life and death, no matter how strong and difficult we are!

Peaceful coexistence with tumor, French-speaking Mo Bao, and common Buddhist destiny.

Since the onset of the disease, Master has been "living in peace" with tumors, regarding tumors as "good knowledge". She has experienced numerous major pains and minor pains, never used any painkillers, tranquilizers or sleeping pills, and never complained about others. She only turned pain into an indomitable bodhi sad wish: "May all beings have no pain, no pain, no disease, no trouble ..." "May all beings suffer untold sufferings ..." "

This is a sentence that Master often recited when he was ill. The more serious the illness, the stronger Master's grief desire. All the pains angered Hua Song's endless sad wishes, and they rushed into the turbulent sea of Amitabha's wishes, devouring all the pains and all the helplessness. In this way, Master used "compassion for all beings" and "belief in Buddhism" as her painkillers. The sick master still said, "Let go of your heart and let the joy of Amitabha fill your heart. 」

In the spirit of "not seeking happiness for yourself, but hoping that all beings can get rid of their sufferings", Master wholeheartedly trusted Amitabha in his illness, changed his mind by chanting Buddha, and sometimes realized something. And every time I have an experience, I become attached to everyone with the remaining pigments and exquisite French calligraphy and painting. I humbly call it "kindergarten children's painting to support the bliss baby." Disciples collected more than 200 paintings, rigorous calligraphy and sincere French into a book, named "Golden Lotus in Full Bloom, Clear Water and Bright Moon-Sisi Collection".

I believe I am willing to study Buddhism, and I have sufficient resources. I only said that Amitabha is willing to go to sea.

Master has undergone many changes in her practice, and these changes and tempering have strengthened her faith. When Master first became a monk, he tried his best to study Buddhism. She said, "... at that time, I was studying Buddhism 24 hours a day, ... I was really nervous because I was very ill and dying. I'm afraid I can't live, and I dare not sleep. Be really alert when you sleep, and you are more nervous than when you were on duty before. I really can't describe the tension between life and death. If you don't have enough will and faith in Buddha, it will be terrible to meet that point. 」

Later, in practice, Master gradually realized that to have a correct attitude towards Buddha, we must read Buddha with gratitude and willingness. Every Buddha's name is a heart of gratitude and wish, not how many Buddha's names are exchanged for the death of Amitabha. In Master's enlightenment, he said, "If you have the opportunity to read the Bible, you should know the true meaning of' Buddha'. Don't take it out of context, take a few key points, adhere to and understand these key points, and it is easy to produce deviations. For example, if you believe what you want to do, you will do what you want to do, and then you will worry about how many times you have to recite the Buddha's name. You're nervous. There's no music at all. Then I was very worried and said,' Shit! I'm not distracted. Won't I die? As a result, there is no "trust" because "behavior" is not good, which is deviation. I didn't realize what the Buddha really meant-what did the Buddha want you to do in Elysium? Why go to Elysium by yourself? Why does Buddha want you to go to Elysium? Buddha's heart, great compassion is to take care of all sentient beings without mercy.' Buddha's great compassion has no reason, just hope you are happy! I just want to save you wholeheartedly! ..... is also a Buddhist, if the concept is right, the mentality is right, it is very relaxed and happy; Otherwise, even something as comfortable as chanting Buddha will become stress. 」

Master carefully studied all kinds of pure land classics, and found a passage in the Amitabha Sutra translated by Master Xuanzang, praising the pure land Buddha's taking and receiving sutras and expounding the important truth. It can be seen from the scripture that it is Amitabha's "merciful blessing" that "makes" the dying person not upside down and confused, thinking clearly and dying with the Buddha. The text of the Sad China Sutra describes in more detail that "compassion helps to keep peace of mind". Master repeatedly emphasized and inspired these two verses. Master also often quoted the words of master Hu Yi's Tomiyao Street: "Whether you live or not depends on your belief; Good taste depends on fame. " Share it with everyone. Master's audio tape "The Caterpillar Becomes a Butterfly" and this series of books teach us how to review our "beliefs and wishes" in our daily life.

Master experienced all kinds of pains and sufferings during her illness, and she personally realized the greatness and kindness of Amitabha's forty-eight willingness to save all beings. Therefore, her greatest sad wish in this life is to carry forward the great wish of Amitabha, to be an advertiser of Amitabha-to advertise the various interests of Amitabha, to help all living beings to miss the Buddha and get rid of all kinds of sufferings forever. Master once recited the Buddha aloud on the train, just to let the people in the same car hear the Buddha's name, so that "once heard, if a million people rob, they will eventually take off." "A layman once said," The Taoist priest was born and said that Amitabha wanted the sea! This sentence really speaks to Master's heart.

Last words: "Buddha is chanting for me, not for me."

In the early morning of July 18, 2003 (the 19th day of June in the lunar calendar, Guanyin Bodhisattva became a monk), Master was still thinking about Buddha as usual. She asked the person who accompanied the chanting: "Who can help at this time?" She replied, "There is nothing anyone can do except Amitabha!" The host said firmly, "Yes! Only amitabha! " Continue to recite the Buddha quietly ...

After a while, Master said, "Don't pay attention to things and shapes when reciting Buddha ... What I want to say now is very important, you should remember! I'm trying my best to say these words now ... It's very important to think of Buddha. Do you know the true meaning of chanting Buddha? The mentality of chanting Buddha is' Buddha chanting Buddha for me', not' I chanting Buddha for Buddha'. ..... I have fully understood and understood! " At this time, Master still seems to believe firmly, calm and serene, and his consciousness is very clear.

As usual, Master showed others the essentials of chanting Buddha while chanting Buddha. This time, however, after opening this passage, she lay on the right side, whispered a few Buddhist names and died. The time is 2: 40 in the morning.

Master died, was lucky, and was born safely in the west. 48 years old, quit 17 years of wax. Twenty-three hours later, he joined hands with the resident teacher to enter the grave, and his body was soft and abnormal. The barber teacher couldn't help saying, "Top grade student!" The enthusiastic help of teachers and lotus friends lasted for eight days day and night, plus three meditation sessions and memorial services, it is estimated that the number of participants exceeded tens of thousands.

On July 25th, Chiayi Shuiguo Primary School held a three-hour meditation meeting, and invited Shang Zhen and Xia Hua to preside over it. On the morning of July 26th, a memorial service was held, and elders such as Shang Zhen,,, and were invited to preside over it. At noon, the coffin was moved to the Cide Temple in the water for cremation. When the hearse passed by, I was very moved to wait for the citizens on the roadside and give gifts on the spot. On the way to the spiritual transfer and cremation site, the solemn sound of Buddha's name kept ringing through the sky. Around 7 pm after cremation, the night sky was lit up again and again, with different colors, such as pink, light purple, white and gold. The light was a bit like lightning, but it didn't thunder. Instead, the lotus friends cheered and applauded one after another, and the atmosphere of the whole scene changed from extreme sadness to joy. This light lasted for more than two hours, until the citizens returned, and the sky was still shining to light the way home. Lotus friends who went back to the north or south said that it was still shining until 1 am.

After cremation, there are many relics, such as gold, silver, ... such as the seven treasures of bliss, pure and solemn. There is also a statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva, which looks like hanging its head and taking care of all beings, and there are more than 20 relics in the shape of a small wooden fish. Master completed her life journey and returned to Blissful University to study abroad. I sincerely hope that she will not break this oath, and return to her mother-in-law as soon as possible after getting the body of King Kong Yan, and plant the western nine-product lotus widely. The lifelong friendship between Master and Bodhisattva has great confidence in Amitabha and endless compassion for all sentient beings. Where did it come from? Master once told his disciples earnestly, "All I have learned in my life depends on the phrase' Amitabha'! 」

Witness of Master's Tea Ceremony

On the afternoon of July 25, a Buddhist ceremony was held at 3 o'clock. When the elders came to attend the charity ceremony, it suddenly began to rain. The rain was small at first, but then it rained harder and harder until evening. Let the originally hot weather suddenly cool down, and all the lotus friends present were moved. Appreciate the compassion of Buddha and Bodhisattva. Master is merciful, and can't bear such a hot opening ceremony. (venue: playground of Zhongpushui Primary School in Chiayi) (Note: it hasn't rained in the local area for a long time, and it didn't rain until 25th)

When the farewell ceremony was held on July 26, a golden light suddenly appeared behind the Buddha statue.

On July 26th, the ceremony was scheduled to be cremated at 15: 00, but it was not cremated until 17: 40. At first we were puzzled. We didn't understand until what happened later.

At about 19: 00, after school, I went to the parking lot outside the crematorium to find my friend, and I saw the dark sky. Suddenly, the sky in the west lit up and I could see two mountains on the left (that is, the west). After school, she also said to the sister of Taipei, the host of the lotus seed release group: Why does the sky suddenly seem to dawn? The three of us were discussing things at that time. Although we thought the sky was strange, we didn't notice it. At the end of the study, I guessed that it might be a slight injury, so I didn't think much. Later, it began to rain. This rain is very strange, with heavy raindrops. The rain is also loud. I can see and hear, but I can't hit my body. So I walked around after school to see if I would get wet in the rain. After walking for a few minutes, I finally thought, is this the dew rain of Buddha and Bodhisattva? Just as I was thinking this way, there was a big raindrop that landed in the middle of the last school. And there is only one drop.

(On the tour bus back to Taipei, when Lian You shared what she saw and heard, a senior sister said that she knew it was raining and wanted to run down to take shelter from the rain, but as in school, the rain just couldn't hit her. Finally, only one drop landed in the center of the head. )

Later, I went back to the crematorium after school. At this time, I heard lotus friends shouting: a big pink lotus appeared in the western sky ... and a big red light suddenly appeared in the sky. Then the sky was always bright. There is a red light. White light. Glittering with gold. Blue light. Purple light ... (the light lasts about 2 hours: 19: 00 ~ 2 1: 00). Lotus friends clapped their hands and cheered, and they were very happy.

(In the process of drinking tea, there was a sudden power outage for a while, which made us feel dark; But everyone's hearts are full of warmth, not afraid, and the voice of chanting Buddha is louder. I look forward to seeing the mage relic. ) At this time, the master's tea was finished, and shiny relics appeared in front of us. We want to see the light in the sky and Master's relics at the same time. Everyone is very moved and happy.

Finally, scholars understood why the mage became the last cremator that day. It turns out that the mage, like an old mage who has gone from top to bottom, wants to leave us a shining gift. It shines like lightning, but it is not lightning. It is released to amplify the light and give birth to bliss. Moreover, the mage is responsible for the cremation of all the deceased on that day, as well as the families of the deceased and all the people who saw and heard at the scene. So stick to it until the last minute. We have been studying Buddhism for a long time.
