This trip is very special and has been prepared for two years. After returning to Europe after filming, Ballesta spent seven months treating the nerve trauma he suffered in the harsh environment. But he said it was all worth it. The picture shows a diver looking at the emperor penguin not far away. The brown fragments above are microalgae, which attach to sea ice and carry out photosynthesis in spring.

In the past five hours, divers have recorded the wonderful natural world to their heart's content, and the diving depth has reached 70 meters. There are 16 species of octopus in Antarctica, and one of them is left at the bottom of the sea. There is a special pigment in the blood of all Antarctic octopus, which makes the blood appear blue and helps to survive in the environment below freezing point.

A diver dived to a depth of more than 60 meters, where the light was dim and the temperature was below zero. Weddell seal is the southernmost mammal in the world. They usually move near the coast and breathe air through ice caves. A young weddell seal stays in the crack of the ice. Adult Weddell seals are generally 3 meters long and weigh 500 kilograms.

There are also various marine invertebrates in the waters of Antarctica. A diver is a few meters below an Antarctic sea ice, and a rope hanging not far away is used to help the diver return to the ice.
