The eight-character mantra replied by the photography industry
I believe everyone has seen these eight proverbs, and they usually appear in various photography forums. So what do these eight words mean? Why do you say that?
In the money-burning world of photography, all kinds of white, big brother, old mage, equip the party and move the party, but more or less these eight words will pop out of their mouths. Some people will be curious, so it's no use praising beautiful photos now. That's necessary. Since photography is a world of burning money, from some angles, the more expensive the better. As a result, some old wizards who don't have much photography skills but pursue the original film with tens of thousands of machine lenses are full of praise for the photos and the equipment.
Let's talk about these eight-character proverbs.
Sharpening and emulsifying
The unfolding is: the inside of coke is as sharp as a knife, and the outside of coke melts like cream.
It's about your lens, and basically it has nothing to do with your skills. First of all, your focus is accurate and your lens is sharpened, which basically shows that your lens is good and valuable. The photos taken by a set of lenses bought by many novices are not particularly clear, but always a little fuzzy and look a little fleshy. This is the lack of sharpness of the lens. Generally speaking, high sharpness is really good, but it does not mean that it must be sharpened forcibly. The sharpness of the lens is only an indicator.
Out of focus, it melts like cream. First of all, you can't have your cake and eat it. It is difficult to have clarity and Jiao Wai blur at the same time. If the lens is sharp and creamy, it is really valuable and should be praised. Jiao Wai blur may be due to large aperture or long focal length. In a word, expensive.
There are many sharp creamy lenses. Take 135stf and Leica's Night God as examples.
Sony STF 135 F2.8 (T4.5)
The price of this lens is about 7000- 10000 RMB. "STF" is short for smooth transmission focusing, and Sony calls it 135mm defocusing lens. In fact, it is not a new technology pioneered by Sony. It can only be regarded as inheriting Minolta's fine tradition and carrying it forward. Today, this Sony-marked 135 STF header is the successor of Ke Mei 135 STF, and its appearance keeps this unique technology from being lost. An apodized optical element called an apodized optical element, that is, an apodized filter, is installed in the lens, which is located at the position of the aperture. The device realizes the defocusing function of the optical head.
The zoom monster with double aperture can be as sharp as cream, which must be praised.
Leica's night glasses, namely notilux-m1:0.95/50 mm asph.
The official price is 76,800 yuan, so what is the concept of 0.95 aperture? If you have a lens with a focal length of about 50mm, the most common one is the aperture of F3.5, which can be bought for several hundred dollars. It is better to reach F2.8, 1.8, 1.4. Basically, the aperture is larger and the price doubles. A larger aperture can bring more blurred background and more light, so it may look better.
Poison university
Poison, virtue, taste, master, erudition.
Poison is basically the ultimate version of praising this photo. The photos have beautiful colors, accurate details, no overflow of high brightness, dark parts that are not dead, transparent pictures, and no dispersion and purple edges as a whole. Basically, the camera is good, or it may be too late. Maybe it can also make people feel the urge to buy lenses.
Wade, a word that can be seen everywhere, is basically a bad word, so that Baidu Encyclopedia appeared: Wade usually refers to the rich expression of red, blue, especially red, and the natural color transition (so-called oily). The story of Dewei is too long. You can check it at the end of the article. Basically, it is the texture of oil painting, with strong colors but not gorgeous, and the dark part of the picture is blue. At present, the representatives of Dewei are basically Leica, or in a word, expensive.
Master, you are known as a master. Finally, I stopped boasting about equipment and began to praise you. I am always touched! I learned a lot after seeing this photo, including lens, fuselage, specific details and parameters, or composition shooting angle.
The master has a cloud: the head behind the camera is more important than the head in front of the camera. Better equipment can really improve your photography level to a certain extent, but it's useless to buy even the best equipment if your brain doesn't think and study. Equipment is a bottomless pit, so it is enough to choose the one that suits you.
Now you should understand what these eight-character proverbs mean, but basically, if you reply with these eight words, it is basically a reply without nutrition, which is the same as "I am such a standard fifteen words"
What is German flavor?
"Dewei" is a very general concept. To understand it, we must start with the birth of the lens.
The 35mm-long camera started from Leica and Kontex in Germany. At that time, the lens imaging style was of course tasteless, because it was all German, and there was no need to make any difference. In fact, Leica and Kangtai still have some differences in imaging. Because the optical structure design of photographic lens is still in the exploratory stage at the beginning of its birth, the lens design is constantly innovating and improving. Later, when Canon and Nikon of Japan imitated Leica and Kangtaishi's paraxial cameras and matched Japanese-made lenses, users only distinguished the imaging styles of Nissan and German-made lenses. But this difference was quickly replaced by the lens difference of 35mm SLR camera, which took off in 1950s and spread rapidly.
In 1950s, the paraxial lens was gradually replaced by SLR, but the optical structure design of the lens was quite mature. Therefore, the lens structure of each family is basically the same. At this time, the German lens was represented by Leica, which was sharp and took into account the dark details. Of course, there was no color film, so there was no color reproduction. Let's just say this is the smell of German lens. This tradition of finding the best balance between these two contradictions (sharpness and dark details) is the guiding ideology of lens design, which has continued from the beginning to today. Therefore, if we must define Dewei, it should be a very general statement. As far as the lenses of Leica and Kangtai Time are concerned, the sharpness of Leica is slightly greater than that of Kangtai Time. But on the whole, both of them are in an excellent balance range. However, because Contax later produced supporting lenses for many camera manufacturers, including optical instruments such as large, medium and small cameras, and Leica's SLR price could not be sold, Zeiss lenses had greater influence in the world than Leica. Therefore, when it comes to virtue, the metropolis will be based on the Zeiss lens.
Japan's SLR cameras began to rise with Pentax as the leader in the 1950s. Of course, they should imitate the beginning of Germany in the camera. In fact, the lens optical structure was developed by Germans/Europeans before, and there was no revolutionary innovation. When Japan develops, it will naturally not be much different from Germany in structure. Therefore, most SLR lenses in Japan are improving. Therefore, in the black-and-white film era of 1950s and 1960s, the Japanese lens with Pentax was the most like the German imaging style. Nikon is sharper than Leica. Canon just focuses on dark details. This style did not change when color films prevailed in the mid-1970s, but only overlapped the tendency of color restoration. As we say now: Nikon's is sharper and harder in color (this must be linked). Canon is softer and deeper, with good details and color reproduction (also bound together) and so on. This is because Japan defeated and replaced Germany in the development of SLR cameras in the 1960s, and today it has the so-called German flavor. Nature is different from Japan.
But if you really want to separate the lens of Japan and Germany. In other words, we put sharpness and dark details on an X axis. Then take the average value of German Zeiss lens as zero. Then canon will actually fall on the dark side, and Nikon will fall on the other side. Therefore, if we are used to watching Nikon's films, we say that German taste is slightly less than Nikon's, but sharper than Canon's, and the dark details are more German than Nikon's, but still smaller than Canon's. This goes back to the first sentence, that is, virtue and taste are the most balanced styles in the comprehensive indicators.
In fact, the difference between German flavor and Japanese flavor is very small objectively. More is actually the user's preference. And this preference is actually very subjective. But subjectively, I think Pentax's lens is the most German-like in Japanese. Canon and Nikon are superior in only one respect. When I say beyond, I mean adding a few squares to the test index.
