Considering that none of us studied painting professionally, it was difficult for me to draw characters, so I gave up. Because it was late, I let the children go to bed first, so I rummaged through her bookshelf to give myself a framework: picture books were moderately difficult, distinctive and interesting, so I tentatively decided on a few.

After discussing with the children, I decided that the English picture book "The Hungry Caterpillar" is more interesting. In order to make the creative process more interesting and let children feel the different effects brought by different materials and tools, we have prepared all relevant painting tools and creative materials at home.

Painting tools: gouache, marker, watercolor pen, oil pastel, colored lead; Materials: picture book, bubble plastic film, scissors, spray bottle, paper towel, sponge seal, water paint, plastic cup (cleaning brush)

We started making the front cover and back cover, and decided to use gouache paint first. I'll draw the outline of the caterpillar first and let the children draw it. The green of the car body is deep and light, and the paint is only dark. She suggested using green+white to brighten it, and the effect was not bad. Oil painting stick for burr on the side of car body; The back cover is made of green radish leaves at home, which is more beautiful and natural than the painting. When finished, draw the sun with an oil pastel. There is only the sun on the first page, and we use colored strokes (10. 14, 3 a day).

When you see a lot of dots on the title page of a picture book, discuss with your child. You can dip your finger in gouache painting. She was too dirty and suddenly thought of a way to dye the card, so I took the bubble plastic film in the courier box, and Ipoh children drew some dots on it with various markers. Seeing that her color selection is a bit tangled, let her choose what she likes. She said, "No, you have to use your imagination", okay! I accept this sentence ~ Although there is a big gap between the printed result and the book, we are very happy talking and laughing in the process.

Finally, I began to make the first page of the text. She still rubs it with green radish leaves. After I outlined the outline, we mixed the colors together. I've been very careful. She painted very smartly, as if she had finished it with a wave of her hand. I painted the sky light blue. She mixed several colors with a cotton seal, and the effect was better than mine. There is no brown in the paint. She suggested using blue and yellow tones, which didn't achieve the expected effect. We changed it to yellow and a little black.

Maybe practice makes perfect. After two days of practice and running-in, we did it more smoothly today. Of course, maybe children don't feel so fresh, and sometimes they don't want to do it, but encourage them to finish part of it together.

When painting soil, because the black coverage is too strong, the little guy can try to paint it with yellow and red pigments. The result was unexpectedly good. We make the fruit part together. I draw apples and plums, and she draws pears. Finally, I decorated together and made holes together. We finished five pages today.

Considering that Ipoh will have a Latin dance class tomorrow and hand in the homework the day after tomorrow, we decided to finish the rest today. We still work together. She drew strawberries, drew a page (lollipop page) of food caterpillars ate on Saturday, and drew fat caterpillars together. I'll finish the rest. When drawing the last page of the butterfly, she may feel tired and unwilling to participate. I think it's good to insist on finishing so much with me in front. But in order to make her feel that she must stick to the end, I finished the last page alone, but what kind of material I followed her advice and chose a marker, so I also participated, haha ~ ~

She didn't paint strawberries full red as the book said, but added green herself. I'm glad she has her own ideas. The fruit packaging foam she painted on it was originally intended to paste into the lower part of the ice cream. In addition, we originally wanted to put cotton on all the small white balls, because time was tight and there was no double-sided tape. Later, we gave up and drew directly, which is still a little regrettable.

It is said that good things need more grinding, and the binding can be completed no less than three times. The first time I found that I missed a page, I started again. The second time, turn over two pages and start again; The stapler broke down for the third time, and finally succeeded after ordering several times. Seeing the works spread all over the table and then lit, it was really full of sense of accomplishment and moved.

It's great to stick to one thing! Thank you for your trust and invitation! Thanks to the child's father, although he was too busy to attend the work, he actively cooperated with us and provided A4 paper and stapler. Thanks to the time when I studied mind mapping, I worked hard to improve myself and made me free from drawing white paintings. Thanks to the teachers of the drawing team! What I should thank most is my child, for being my child, and for letting me see my own shortcomings like a mirror. Just like this parent-child cooperation, I also urged her, and there was a little dispute because of different ideas, and I began to reflect on myself afterwards. It turned out that I was in a hurry, and the quarrel was because the child had grown up, began to have self-awareness and began to say no. This is a good thing, isn't it?
