Brief introduction to the story of Shaolin scaffolding master
The owner of the dyehouse hired a master of the Qing Dynasty, who was known as the "Manchu Ten Clubs", to manage the dyehouse, but he had to deduct 20% from the workers' wages to pay for it. This move aroused strong opposition from the workers, but in the face of these masters, the workers were only beaten up with anger and could not solve the problem at all. The workers are miserable for this.
Zhou's younger brother, a dyer, has been pretending to be all kinds of people for a living. The workers let him play the famous Sande monk in Shaolin Temple and take it out on everyone. With the cooperation of the workers, Zhou Renjie really fooled the Manchu ten sticks and became a great hero in the hearts of the workers. But it didn't last long. The owner of the dyehouse exposed Zhou Renjie's tricks. Not only did he beat up Zhou Renjie, but also the workers suffered.
Zhou Renjie decided to go to Shaolin Temple to learn Kung Fu and uphold justice for the workers. But he was not a lay disciple, so he had to sneak into Shaolin Temple with his own cleverness. Monk Sander soon discovered Zhou Renjie's false identity, but at the same time he also discovered Zhou Renjie's martial arts talent. Sande taught students in accordance with their aptitude. Instead of letting Zhou Renjie practice in Room 36 every day like other lay disciples, he arranged for him to build a bamboo shed. Although Zhou Renjie was very disdainful, in order to become a disciple of Sande, he began to build scaffolding day by day.
Three years later, Zhou Renjie not only built a bamboo shed, but also learned a lot by watching other disciples practice martial arts. Seeing that the time was ripe, Sande drove Zhou Renjie out of Shaolin Temple.
Depressed, Zhou Renjie returned to the dyehouse and found that all the former workers had changed jobs. Even the left-behind workers live a precarious life. The workers were very excited about Zhou Renjie's return, but Zhou Renjie himself thought that he had learned nothing except to build a bamboo shed in Shaolin Temple. But soon Zhou Renjie found himself practicing martial arts invisibly, so he came to the dyehouse to uphold justice for the workers.
After a fierce battle, the Manchu Tenth Society and the dyehouse owner were defeated by Zhou Renjie. The workers fought for their due rights, so Zhou Renjie got the reputation of "Shaolin Scaffolding Master".
