Where is Wang Zhongyuan from?

Wang Zhongyuan (1890- 1964) is a native of Jingling Village, Songyuan, Meixian County, Guangdong Province. Graduated from Guangdong Survey School. Since 1927, I have been engaged in the survey, planning and design of Meixian, Song Mei and Meibin highways. 1949 10 was appointed as the architect of Meixian People's Government. 1June 1955 to1June 1960, he was a member of the first, second and third people's committees of Meixian county. Wang Zhongyuan is the main technical backbone of Meixian water conservancy department, and undertakes the water conservancy planning, design and technical review of the county. From 65438 to 0950, he successively directed the construction of Sanxiang Water Conservancy Project, Laomeipi Project, Human and Water Conservancy Project. 1952 to 1953 participated in the water conservancy survey and planning of key dry areas in the county, as well as the design and construction of Messi Water Conservancy and Yang Beijing Water Diversion Project. 1in the spring of 955, at the age of 60, he still took pains to walk more than 70 miles from Songkou to Songyuan one day to survey water conservancy projects. During the period of 1956, pressure pipeline construction of Songkou Huaqiao Hydropower Station and 1957 construction and installation of Huangshilun Hydropower Station, he also gave on-site guidance and put forward many useful suggestions. From 195 1 to 1958, it also undertook the architectural design of Meixian People's Cinema, Songkou Overseas Chinese Theatre and Meixian Overseas Chinese Theatre, as well as the overall planning and auditorium design of senior middle schools. With a rigorous scientific attitude and the requirement of quality first, he successfully completed the design and construction of various projects and made great contributions to the water conservancy and hydropower construction in Meixian County.
