Thoughts on Peng's freehand animal exhibition

65438+1On the morning of October 30th, at the end of the following year, the Spring Festival in Shen Bing is approaching. Take the subway 1 line early in the morning, start from Qiushui Square Station in Honggutan, get off at Tengwangge Station, cross Zhongshan Bridge and take Rongmen Road. It was an antique street, crowded with people and tourists, but it seemed a little deserted at this time. Maybe it's the weekend, and it's the middle of winter and the twelfth month. I just experienced the bad weather of Bawang cold wave and snowstorm, and now I still have a lingering fear. Although the weather has cleared up today, it is still cold and wet outside. However, when I arrived at Dafengtang Gallery, the room was already full of guests. The big billboard in front of the museum impressively reads: life and mind-Peng freehand brushwork animal exhibition. The opening ceremony and exhibition were attended by people in the painting and calligraphy circles of provinces and cities, collectors, photographers and lovers of painting and calligraphy, as well as hundreds of scholars and lovers who came from other places with different accents. The small exhibition hall was packed, the warm scene was in sharp contrast with the cold wind outside, and the warmth in the exhibition hall was thick. It added a bit of joy to the exhibition before the Spring Festival.

Peng's son, Peng is in Ten Old Jiangxi. When he was a child, he studied painting with his father and had a soft spot for animals. He is good at drawing tigers, and has published such picture books as Peng Hua Ji Hu Shi Ji. Biology-Peng's freehand brushwork animals with crooked necks, Peng's ceramic art, a collection of contemporary famous works-Peng and so on. Many art exhibitions have been held at home and abroad, among which the special program "Tiger and Ink-A Record of Peng, a freehand tiger painter" produced by the Central Digital TV Painting and Calligraphy Channel was broadcast in 2009, which was quite influential. In 2009, the National Day was selected as a series of artistic special programs "6060-Presenting a Gift to the National Day" jointly launched by CCTV Boutique, CCTV Entertainment and Calligraphy and Painting Channel, and was selected as the only painter in Jiangxi Province who was selected as a representative of the contemporary freehand tiger. 20 13 went to Taiwan Province province to participate in "Taoism and Nature-Peng and Peng Ink Painting Art Exhibition"; 20 14 went to Paris to attend the "Dunhuang China Ceramic Art Porcelain Exhibition" held by the Louvre.

I came to Nanchang from Shanghai to attend the opening ceremony of the exhibition and visit the exhibition. When I received the invitation from Mr. Peng, I felt extremely surprised and excited. As a former college classmate and friend. How can I miss such a grand life event, what's more, it is also a great opportunity to fully and deeply understand Peng's artistic experience and brilliant achievements and learn from his old classmates.

Mr. Peng is wearing a navy suit. He was full of energy and flushed. As the guest of honor, he is naturally very busy, and his wife also helps to receive guests from all walks of life. When the media interviewed him, I also leaned in. In this exhibition, * * * exhibited Peng's series of creations of Wild Animals in East Africa and more than 70 representative works of various animals. The theme involves: lions, elephants, wildebeests, macaques, tigers, rabbits, antelopes and many other wild animals. Rich in content and unique in expression, the works are full of the painter's heartfelt love for animals and full of life flavor.

In the summer of 2008, Mr. and Mrs. Peng went to six internationally renowned wildlife reserves, including Masai Mara, Kenya, and made a one-month photographic investigation of Kenya wildlife reserves. Every day, they camped in Daiyue, closely observed the habitat, hunting, courtship and migration of wild animals, and photographed and witnessed rare scenes such as' wild dog hunting, wildebeest confronting cheetahs, ostrich couples dancing' for several times in a row. They followed an elephant family all day, observed and recorded all the details of their foraging, drinking, playing and getting angry, and got a more detailed and intuitive understanding of their unity and friendship at home, high vigilance and self-esteem abroad. There was almost a crisis during the period, but fortunately it was finally saved. They also followed the migrating wildebeest all the way to the famous Mara River, and observed and photographed crocodiles and hippos in the river. Because of climate and luck, they couldn't see the breathtaking scene of wildebeest crossing the Mara River, but the magnificent picture of millions of wildebeests migrating along the river still deeply shocked Peng, and they had a strong impulse to create a picture with wildebeest and Mara River as the background theme.

Peng said that his trip to Kenya will never be forgotten. We ride a four-wheel drive off-road vehicle, galloping on the endless prairie, pursuing the footprints of wild animals such as elephants, lions and cheetahs, and getting in close contact with the original ecological natural environment, which is extremely comfortable and wonderful. However, in order to find a unique creative source, we not only have to endure mosquito bites, but also directly face the beast in front of us. In Peng's works, the domineering images of lions, bison and elephants, as well as the rushing group images of zebras, antelopes and giraffes are all lifelike. "Cry in the Wilderness" depicts a brave bison, surrounded by lions, but unwilling to sit still, growling and courageously hoofing, making the lion, the king of beasts, look foolish. The picture of this work is vivid, profound and inspiring.

Peng painted a tiger, imitating his father but not confined to his father's artistic personality. It can be said that shine on you is better than Blue. His brushwork of "freehand tiger" in Chinese painting, drawing lessons from calligraphy, is unrestrained and uninhibited, with magnificent pictures, quick and clever small strokes, brilliant brushwork, vigorous and vivid brushwork and great artistic appeal. He said: "The process of drawing a tiger is also the process of finding the spirit of the tiger. The tiger in my mind is an animal nature that combines warriors, fighters, strong men, righteous men and gentlemen. It is strong and self-disciplined, dignified and brave, confident but not frivolous, and has unparalleled spiritual temperament such as greatness, masculinity and nobility. " After this trip to Africa, he tried to express lions and leopards with Chinese paintings. In The Three-Sidewalk, the lion, the tiger and the leopard live in harmony, and the picture composition is full and unique. Peng adheres to the creative concept of "art comes from life", that is, Zhuangzi "whoever can communicate with the spirit of heaven and earth can adopt it at will, and it will become a wonderful truth".

The investigation brought back tens of thousands of photos, hundreds of videos and vivid pictures. Over the past year or so, Peng has successively created more than a dozen series of creations with the theme of wild animals in East Africa. The time and content of its investigation are the first of its kind in the domestic art world, and many of its themes, such as wildebeest, Mara River and ostrich dance, have also filled the blank of such themes in the art world. Through the special reports of provincial and municipal media, this series of creations has attracted the attention and attention of art circles, photography circles and animal protection circles. Under the influence of the current trend of money worship, many works of art are getting farther and farther away from the source of life, and many artists are becoming more impetuous, utilitarian and practical. Photos replace life, the studio is heaven and earth, and the phenomenon of emphasizing production over life is becoming more and more common. At present, Peng's view on the immortal works of nature is like a clear spring flowing through his chest. The audience unanimously praised and affirmed Peng's artistic creation attitude of advocating nature, going deep into life and being down-to-earth. For these works, which are saturated with the author's painstaking efforts and unique artistic style, I feel the inner shock and artistic enjoyment.

These vivid pictures are novel, unique and thrilling, which shocked and moved me. Peng's image suddenly appeared more stalwart, plump and bloody in my mind. As the saying goes, he is as beautiful as a fairy. He is my closest friend since I went to college. He is warm and kind, and he is decent and generous. During my college years, as the eldest brother in my class, my major was top-notch, and each of us got his help and care. He is elegant, humorous and talkative. Wherever he goes, he takes happiness, laughter and boxes with him. After classmates went to work, Nanchang went on business and traveled. No matter how busy he is, he will take time to meet him. He is also happy to see the career development and progress of his classmates and friends, and he will do his best to help them. His thoughts are profound and wise, and his observation and analysis of things are incisive and to the point. He made full use of his identity as a national party and made suggestions for the revitalization and development of Jiangxi's cultural and artistic undertakings. He is a husband, caring for his wife, respecting her and accompanying her; As a father, pay attention to the formation and cultivation of children's personality, cultivation and independent ability; As a man, he is a dutiful son, who has devoted infinite care to his 90-year-old mother, the arrangement of comfortable accommodation, the care of daily life and the adjustment of the mood of the elderly. Peng is over 60 years old, almost 70 years old. But he resolutely threw himself into the embrace of nature and wrote a brilliant life with great love and affectionate pen and ink. His shocking act of righteousness has set a shining example for the vast number of literary and art workers.

In this exhibition, the organizer presented a beautifully printed album to every guest and audience, which basically covered most of the classic works in the exhibition. If I get the treasure, I plan to go back to Shanghai and read it carefully. Seeing many people vying for Peng's autograph, I also took the opportunity to take a photo with him, and then he signed the photo album he sent me: Zheng. Open tomorrow, 20 16 1 month 16. Holding his hand and listening to his thanks for coming all the way made me feel very kind. I am proud of having such an artistic brother. I silently wish him success and look forward to his next more perfect appearance.
