Is the membership fee of China Photographers Association high?

Members of China Photographers Association have no "high" or "special" funds. Only members who undertake some special shooting tasks can get the funds for a certain project.

Once the applicant's application for membership is approved, he must go through the membership formalities and pay the membership fee according to the regulations before he can become a member of the China Photographers Association. China Photographers Association will issue membership cards in time.

Previously, around 2003, the membership fee standard of China Photographers Association was set as 40 yuan every year, and 200 yuan was allowed to be paid in one lump sum for five years. Those who have not paid their membership fees for five consecutive years are deemed to have withdrawn from the meeting automatically. The association cancels its membership, terminates its membership rights and withdraws its membership card.

After receiving the notice of membership, the new members also need to pay the membership card fee, the electronic version of the art file making and consulting fee, and various related handling fees ***300 yuan.

People at home and abroad who have made outstanding contributions to the development of photography in China can become "honorary members" of the China Photographers Association with the approval of the office meeting of the Secretary General of the China Photographers Association, but honorary members have no right to vote and stand for election.
