Tutorial on using PS to create ink painting effects from real photos
1. Open the original image and copy the background layer.
2. Execute: Filter>Blur>Number Blur.
3. Create a curve adjustment layer.
4. Copy the background layer again, press Ctrl+Shift+] to move it to the top of the layer, change the layer blending mode to "Screen", and change the layer opacity to: 20%.
5. Create a new layer and use the brush to draw some color blocks at will.
6. Apply the painted color: Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur, the value is 88.
7. Add a layer mask to erase the excess color blocks with a black brush, and then merge the layers except the background layer.
8. Go back to copy 1 and create a hue/saturation adjustment layer.
9. Create an optional color adjustment layer.
10. Merge all layers and execute: Filter>Texture>Texture.
