The concept of top beat

Top shot is an angle shooting method in photography, that is, if the angle of overhead shooting is vertical or nearly vertical to the ground plane, it is called top shot. Top shots are often taken in some high-rise buildings or mountainous areas, or even aerial photography by plane or balloon.

Shooting with vertex angle can make some expressive shapes into exquisite pictures from an angle that one can't reach at all. The function of aerial photography is that it changes the normal state of the subject, changes the spatial position of people and environment into a plane pattern with clear lines, and thus makes the picture interesting and aesthetic.

Shooting angle type

1. Shoot up: The camera shoots from a lower position. Upward photography is suitable for shooting high-altitude scenery, which can make the scenery look more tall and majestic. Use it to represent the line of sight of film and television characters, and sometimes to represent the high and low positions between objects.

2. Overhead shooting: Contrary to overhead shooting, the camera shoots down from a height, giving people the feeling of overlooking. The overhead lens has a wide field of vision and is unique. Shooting from a high angle, the horizontal line in the picture rises, and the surrounding environment is fully expressed.

3. Oblique shot: The shooting angle between the front and the side is oblique shot. Oblique shooting can show both sides of an object in one picture at the same time, giving people a distinct three-dimensional sense. Oblique shooting is the most common shooting angle in film and television teaching materials.
