The core area of the nomadic system of Arukerqin grassland is located in Bayan Windur Sumu, with a total area of 5 million mu. 20/KLOC-0 was listed as the second batch of important agricultural cultural heritage in China in May, and was officially recognized as a global important agricultural cultural heritage by FAO in May, 2022. This is also the only grassland nomadic system with Mongolian characteristics in the world.

The vast grassland is the cradle of nomadic people in the north. This land provides a unique geographical environment and living environment, creates a unique grassland culture system, and nurtures many nomadic peoples in the north. As a way of production and life, after long-term development and practice, herders have created splendid nomadic culture with grassland color, such as diet, clothing, architecture, etiquette and sacrifice.

From the early morning of June 14, herdsmen entered the nomadic area in wet fog, or rode horses or drove motorcycles, and began the annual summer transition. The daily necessities of nomadic life in summer are transported by trucks, agricultural vehicles and tricycles, and occasionally there are cars, SUVs and other vehicles. Along the transition, Bayan Du Wen Sumu set up a service station to provide services for the transition herdsmen.

Human beings are progressing and society is developing. The traditional transition mode is quietly changing, and modern nomads have completely replaced the transportation of Lele cars with motor vehicles; Simple horse-riding grazing has developed into coexistence of horse-riding and motorcycle-riding grazing, and more and more motorcycle-riding grazing accounts for the vast majority; Mongolian yurts are no longer the only nomadic residence, and many herders have begun to use their own "RV"; Even if the yurt is used as a residence, it will no longer be built with the arrival of cattle and sheep at the destination, but before the livestock enter the camp, the yurt and daily users will be built in advance by the motor vehicles in the summer camp.

As a way of production and life, traditional nomadism is developing into modern nomadism.

As a cultural heritage, traditional nomadism will be better protected and passed down.
