Visual vision requirements:

1. If the visual acuity is less than 1.0 (logarithmic visual acuity chart 5.O), the majors that cannot be admitted are: ocean, transportation, civil aviation, marine fisheries, criminal investigation, police, and sports.

2. If the visual acuity is lower than O.8 (logarithmic visual acuity chart 4.9), majors that cannot be admitted include: engine management, ship communications, navigation, radio, communications, cooking, etc.

3. The majors that cannot be admitted if the visual acuity is lower than O.6 (logarithmic visual acuity chart 4.8) are: maritime medicine, public security liberal arts major, ship management major, and physical education.

4. Majors that cannot be admitted if the visual acuity is lower than O.4 (4.6 on the logarithmic visual acuity chart) include: Judicial Studies.

5. Those with myopia or hyperopia and a diopter greater than 400 degrees will not be admitted to the following majors: precision instruments, precision machinery, printing machinery, printing management engineering, printing application electronic technology, printing technology and customs.

6. Myopia or hyperopia, with a diopter of more than 800 degrees, or blindness in one eye and a diopter of more than 300 degrees in the other eye, will not be admitted to the following majors: engineering, science (except mathematics and theoretical physics majors), as well as basic medicine, artistic performances, movies, photography.
