The main stadium of the 7th National Agricultural Games was affectionately called "Nanyang Bird's Nest" by the citizens. From the perspective of high-rise buildings, the appearance of the main stadium is similar to the Bird's Nest, the main stadium of the Beijing Olympic Games. The "Nanyang Bird's Nest", which perfectly integrates romantic and elegant Chu culture with profound Chinese culture, witnessed the glory of the preparations for the 7th National Farmers' Games.

The main building of the main stadium has 5 floors, with a height of 45.3 meters. The core building is a stadium and ancillary facilities that can accommodate 35,000 spectators. Among them, the stadium mainly includes a 400-meter standard runway and a standard football field, an auditorium, an auxiliary room, a driving range and a recording studio. There are 8 elliptical runways and 10 linear runways in the competition venue, and all throwing events can be held in the runways. The main stadium can meet the requirements of holding national comprehensive and individual international competitions, and can also hold cultural activities such as cultural performances.
