The red leaves in the northeast are too fierce. This is a neglected autumn shrine.
The ancients said: It is late to stop and sit in the maple forest, and the frost leaves are red in February flowers. But I have hardly seen the beauty of autumn before, so my understanding of this sentence is not profound.
It was not until one autumn in Bipenggou, western Sichuan, that I first saw the colorful forests all over the mountains and plains, and I first realized the invincible scenery of autumn. Since then, I have been keen on chasing the famous autumn all over the country:
Xinjiang, Tibet, Sichuan, Northeast China ...
Among them, autumn in the northeast has to be mentioned, because few places have colorful forests and vast areas like the northeast. But the feeling of autumn in Northeast China is also ignored by many people.
In autumn, I feel that many people around me who want to travel will flock to Xinjiang, Ejina Populus euphratica forest or western Sichuan, or some big cities such as Xiangshan and Nanjing in Beijing. Few people will mention going to the northeast to enjoy autumn.
But I heard that autumn scenery in the northeast is super beautiful, especially the Changbai Mountain Range. One autumn, I went to Changbai Mountain, but I was really unlucky that time. When it snowed heavily on the mountain, Changbai Mountain Scenic Area saw nothing.
But later, I accidentally passed a big forest farm on my way back to Jilin, and I saw endless colorful forests, red, yellow, yellow, green and green, which was simply shocking.
Later, it was also said that the most beautiful autumn in Northeast China is in the forest farm next to the provincial road, but it is not the most shocking to go to any scenic spot.
If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I would never have known that autumn in Northeast China is so gorgeous, and the red leaves here are blooming and fierce!
Among the autumn scenery I have seen, I feel that the level of colored forests in the northeast has surpassed that of western Sichuan, which I have always liked best, and even better than Xinjiang, where the colors are relatively monotonous. It is estimated that only the colorful forests in Linzhi, Tibet can compete with the Northeast.
However, that time I couldn't stop to enjoy it, which always made me forget the autumn in Northeast China. So I have been looking for opportunities to enjoy the autumn in the northeast.
First, the red leaves of Benxi
When it comes to autumn in the northeast, we have to mention Benxi, Liaoning. Because autumn is appreciated in the northeast, the most publicized is the red leaves in Benxi.
I have seen various photos of Benxi, and the maple leaves are really red. I checked again, and it turns out that Benxi City is also located near the remnant veins of Changbai Mountain. Since Changbai Mountain has an endorsement and wants to come to autumn scenery, I decided to have a chance to find out.
However, the best season for red leaves in Benxi is during the National Day every year. I heard that there are many people. Benxi is very close to Shenyang, and the high-speed train will arrive in half an hour. The traffic is so convenient that I think there are many people.
Therefore, I have been afraid to go to Benxi to see the red leaves for a long time, fearing that there will be too many people and it will be too expensive to eat, live and travel.
But in 2020, in this special year, there are many fewer people traveling. I think this is an opportunity to see the red leaves in Benxi. So the plane+high-speed train soon arrived in Benxi.
But when I carefully studied where to see the red leaves, I found that the route was really complicated.
There are many places to enjoy red leaves in Benxi, such as Laobiangou, Guanmen Mountain, Linfeng Valley, Dabinggou and Dashi Lake ... These places are scattered and remote, and there is no convenient public transportation, which is only suitable for go on road trip and not suitable for free travel. ...
Suddenly I don't know where to play and how to get there. ...
So later I chose the most convenient way and signed up for a one-day tour of Benxi. Because the time of this trip is very limited, after careful study, I chose the most famous Laobiangou and Guanmenshan.
According to the locals, the scenery of each scenic spot is similar, and it is similar to going to one. Later, it was found that it was, at least, the old side ditch was similar to Guanmen Mountain, that is, it walked along a stream with many red maples on both sides. I looked at the maps of several other scenic spots and walked around the stream.
Later, I wondered, does Hongfeng like growing near water? There are colored forests in the humid northeast, but not in the dry Xinjiang. The red maple in Guangwu Mountain in Sichuan seems to be walking along the stream.
But if conditions permit, I think it is more convenient for go on road trip to come here, so that we can visit more places in a limited time. I also heard that there are some roads in Benxi that are not scenic spots, so you can't see them without driving.
Second, the old side ditch
I heard that it came late this autumn, and the maple leaves were not red, only the ones in Laobiangou were red, so I chose to come here first.
Although the season is abnormal, it is a pity that the red leaves are not red yet, but they are still a little red, and some gorgeous colors can be seen halfway up the mountain.
In fact, what I'm looking forward to is to see that kind of layered forest all over the mountains and plains. However, most of the red leaf scenic spots here in Benxi are built along streams, and there is basically no chance to climb to the top of the mountain and overlook the mountains, lacking some atmospheric feeling.
Laobiangou, a small stream with a one-way journey of about 3 kilometers, can basically be completed in 2-3 hours, and photography creation usually takes 4-5 hours to finish. The scale of the scenic spot is relatively small, and it can't be compared with Kanas, where you have to walk dozens of kilometers every turn. So the main purpose of enjoying the red leaves here is to enjoy the small scenery and see the details of the red leaves.
Because I was in a hurry to shoot Slow Gate Creek, everyone felt monotonous after shooting too much, so I took a red leaf of Nancy Zhang to commemorate it.
I have been looking for a suitable maple grove since I entered Laobiangou, trying to find the feeling that "parking loves the maple grove late, and the frost leaves are redder than February flowers".
Besides, I found it soon, just these trees. This maple leaf is really red. Looking up, it is really the same color as blood, and it is worthy of being a frosty leaf and red leaf February flower.
In particular, I found that the degree of red leaves is different under different angles and different light. The reddest angle and moment is to look at the light under the tree on a sunny day.
If you look at it in the light, it won't be so red. The color that is already red will be darker, and the color that is not red will be a little orange.
Although several scenic spots of red leaves in Benxi lack some visual atmosphere, there is something special about the red leaves here-there are many leaves.
It is said that this red leaf called Acer truncatum is the most representative in the local area. Generally, there are 9 leaves, and occasionally 1 1 leaves can be found. It is said that there are 13 leaves. Red leaves with so many leaves are really rare in other red leaf areas.
Ok, keep walking into the ditch, will there be more special scenery?
After walking for a while, I found that the scenery was a bit single, and almost all of them walked along the stream. When you look at it with the naked eye, you always feel redder than one, but when you take pictures, you always feel the same.
Finally, I turned a bay and entered a relatively dense maple forest, feeling that the scenery has changed. Most of the maple trees I saw before were smaller, and here are some taller ones.
But I noticed that the maple trees here seem to be relatively small, and there are few big trees. Later, I heard that this maple variety just doesn't grow up.
It turns out that there is a war and a War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression Monument in this old side ditch.
Further inside, I noticed that although the maple leaves are not red, many other tree species have lost all their leaves. But it can also highlight the red color of maple leaves.
At first, I thought the denser the maple leaves, the better. Later, I found it difficult to take pictures. Leaves that are not so dense, leaving a little more white will not be so depressing.
There are no leaves around, only one or two trees with red leaves are left, and the picture is better.
At first, everyone in the audience said that the maple leaves were red late this year, but they were not so red. I hesitated whether to come or not, and finally I had a long ideological struggle before I set out. But when I came here, I found that many maple trees are already very red, and I am very glad.
Walking on, I saw a unique maple tree. Today, I should have seen the most stylish maple tree in Laobiangou, and I couldn't help taking more pictures under this tree.
This maple tree looks good at a distance and looks good at a close distance. Look up carefully, every leaf looks good.
Zoom in with a telephoto lens, the red leaves in the picture are a bit sparse, and the photos will look better.
Like this greedy, the photos taken are not very beautiful, but this dense, naked eye is really spectacular.
Finally, I found a place with a broader vision and finally saw the feeling of being immersed in the forest. It would be even more spectacular if we could visit higher places on the mountain.
I also found a few scattered maple leaves, which are most suitable for small interests.
Then, go further, and you will come to a bridge, where the maple leaves are dense and the scenery is good.
But there are so many tourists living here that it is difficult to take pictures of no one.
The world surrounded by red leaves, this is what autumn should look like.
As the saying goes:
Since ancient times, I feel sad and lonely every autumn. I think autumn is more than spring.
There is no one in the clear sky in Wan Li, and a crane, Ling Yunfei, has aroused my meditation on the blue sky.
Further on, there is an artificial lake with some beautiful maple leaves. But it may be noon at this time, and the light is not as oblique as in the morning, so the color of maple leaves is less.
It's quite picturesque to see two sisters enjoying autumn hand in hand. It suddenly occurred to me that after many years, is there anyone to accompany me to enjoy the autumn?
Besides maple leaves, there are many other red-leaf plants in Laobiangou, which are as red as red maple.
At this time, it is almost the end of the scenic spot. At this time, I also found the scenery I had been looking for for for a long time today, and looked up at a colorful forest.
Look for the feeling of being surrounded by autumn again before reaching the finish line and returning. The horn of the scenic spot keeps ringing: in this late autumn when the maple leaves are falling, I realize that you are not everything in my life … suddenly I feel quite atmospheric.
Seeing that there was still plenty of time, I chose to walk back instead of taking a bus ferry. To appreciate the scenery all the way again. However, I feel that the light at noon is too strong, not as good as the light in the morning.
Now, I finally tasted the famous red leaves in Benxi. On the whole, the trip that has been entangled for a long time has not been in vain, especially the maple leaf at 9 corners here, which is very impressive.
Third, Dandong forcibly inserted.
I heard that the red leaves in Guanmen Mountain are later than those in Laobiangou, so I decided to go somewhere else first and then go to Guanmen Mountain in a couple of days.
Then where should I go? Looking through the map, it turns out that Dandong is very close to Benxi, and the high-speed train 1 hour will arrive. I have heard from friends in Liaoning many times that I suggest going to Dandong, Liaoning. I think this is the opportunity.
I checked, it seems that the red leaves in Dandong are not bad, but I heard that the red leaves in Dandong are not so red this year, so I decided not to see Tianqiao Ditch with red leaves, but to experience the humanities in Dandong.
Dandong is famous for its proximity to North Korea. There is a very famous Yalu River and a broken bridge, which were built by the Japanese to invade China and bombed by the United States in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea.
But in Dandong, I want to go to Hushan Great Wall most, because I have become more and more interested in the Great Wall in the past two years.
Originally, we agreed to go to Chengde to see the Jinshanling Great Wall this year, but we couldn't make it for various reasons. When I arrived in Dandong, I wanted to borrow the Great Wall of Hushan to make up for my regret.
It is said that Hushan Great Wall is the easternmost Great Wall in China. The old dragon head of Shanhaiguan in Qinhuangdao has always been regarded as the easternmost Great Wall in China, but it is said that this is a mistake, and the little-known Hushan Great Wall is.
On the first day in Dandong, I rushed to the Great Wall of Hushan, and there was a direct bus at the railway station, which took an hour by car.
Hushan Great Wall is not very big. It can be accessed in less than 1 hour. Climb to the top of the Great Wall of Hushan, and you can see the scenery of North Korea from a distance.
What's the scenery like in North Korea? The mountains in the distance feel good, and the river is the Yalu River, and the water is quite blue.
The Yalu River has many tributaries here, which is a bit like a wetland landscape, but crops are planted on the land. In the distance, we can see the industrious Korean people harvesting corn.
Let's take a look at the scenery in Dandong. The feeling of architecture is much more obvious.
When the Great Wall arrived, the hero became a hero, so he hurried down the mountain and rushed back to the city. There are many "red pine nuts" on the streets of Dandong, but I tasted them and felt that they were just fried sunflower seeds.
Back in the city, I wanted to eat Quanzhou bibimbap, which ranked highest, but when I walked to the door, I found hundreds of people waiting in line, so I went to eat the famous local ginseng chicken soup.
Can you live forever after eating ginseng for thousands of years? No chance to try. But I found this ginseng chicken soup really delicious.
Another bowl of cold noodles is essential. When I traveled to Jilin in those years, I ate a bowl of Korean cold noodles, which was sour and sweet, delicious and unforgettable. Now I'm in the northeast, and I want to eat again. It's really that taste, sour and sweet.
Next, it's time to punch in the broken bridge of Yalu River. Since we are here, let's go to the river by boat. Today the weather is particularly good, with blue sky and white clouds. This is good weather for swimming in the river.
On one side is Dandong, and on the other side is North Korea. The scenery difference between the two sides is quite obvious. There are many tall buildings in Dandong, but there are not many buildings in North Korea, only a row of small trees.
Let's take a closer look at the houses here in North Korea. I can't see anyone. I wonder if these houses are occupied.
Is there a buddy diving on the Yalu River or something? See me taking pictures and wave to me.
There are two bridges on the Yalu River, a broken bridge and a complete bridge. However, it seems that a complete bridge has not been opened yet. Notice that the bridge on the right is only half.
See the scenery around the iron bridge from the cruise ship. It's hard to imagine what it was like here in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea 70 years ago.
Look at the scenery along the North Korean River, and look at today's scenery. There is a North Korean building opposite, which is particularly conspicuous, and there seems to be a playground next to it.
Originally, I came to Dandong because I really wanted to see the Memorial Hall to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea and learn more about the history of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea. Unfortunately, I can't go in today because of the current restriction, leaving a deep regret.
The one-day tour in Dandong is over, so it's time to go back to Benxi to enjoy the red leaves.
Fourth, Guanmenshan
After waiting for two days, I think the red leaves of Guanmen Mountain should be redder.
Guanmen Mountain is said to be the largest red leaf area in Benxi, and it is also my most anticipated stop.
Because of the inconvenient transportation, I signed up for a one-day tour of Benxi, just like when I went to Laobiangou.
The scenery of Guanmen Mountain is basically the same as that of Laobiangou, and they all walk along the stream. My goal today is to discover more beautiful scenery.
There is a famous maple tree here, known as the king of maple trees, which once had leaves with 13 horns.
I always thought that the king of maple was a super-large maple, but I found that it was not tall.
Although there are still some maple trees in Guanmen Mountain that are not red, this maple king is already red. After all, I stayed under this tree for a while. I'm glad you came.
Look carefully under the maple king, can you find the leaves with 13 angle? I haven't found it yet, but I found a leaf with a corner of 1 1.
The route of Guanmenshan is longer than that of Laobiangou. The tour guide suggested going to Wang Feng by bus, so don't go ahead, and then take the scenic exit.
However, I feel healthy today. In order not to regret, I decided to go to the end of the ditch and come back. Sure enough, going forward is still rewarding, and I met some good colorful forests.
Although this yellow leaf is not red, it looks good.
Found a beautiful big maple tree. Because there are many tourists around, I don't want to take pictures of tourists. I studied how to shoot well under it for a long time, and finally thought it would be better to let tourists in.
This maple tree is very red, which is in harmony with the surrounding trees. Sure enough, this tree once again confirmed my previous thoughts. As the saying goes, when the water is full, it will overflow, and when the moon is full, it will lose money. Not so dense maple leaves are actually better to take pictures, otherwise the picture will look too bloated.
Nowadays, there are obviously more tourists than in the old side ditch, which may be because it is close to the best viewing period. I met the well-equipped SLR grandfathers who are creating.
Back to Fengwangtai, I started to walk from Fengwangtai to the exit of the scenic spot, and I began to feel a little tired of taking pictures. I think all the photos I took are very poor.
But after walking for a while, I finally found a beautiful maple tree. This maple tree is not only red, but also beautiful with the surrounding red leaves and green leaves. Appreciate it from all angles.
Then I found a few less dense red leaves growing in the middle of the stream. I have a hunch that these photos will look good. I tried several times in the past, and the results were not bad. There was no one in the middle stream. Finally, I can take a portrait commemorative photo.
I also found a nice colorful forest, which not only matches the mountain behind me perfectly, but also feels more colorful standing below. It should be the best colorful forest I have ever seen on this trip.
Yes, this is exactly what I have been looking for all day, the most authentic autumn color in Northeast China.
Just as I was about to walk to the gate, I found another beautiful maple tree. The sun is sometimes absent, so I look for an angle in the sun and wait for the moment when the sun comes out.
When I feel the light, it is still different! When I met this tree, the trip to the red leaves in Benxi ended happily.
Verb (abbreviation of verb) postscript
Many years ago, I said I would go to Guangwu Mountain, Qinling Mountain, Laojun Mountain, Taihang Mountain and Yimeng Mountain to see the red leaves, but because the time requirement for seeing the red leaves was too high, I never made it.
I wanted to borrow Benxi to make up for this regret, but unfortunately, the weather was not beautiful, and the peak of red leaves was unexpectedly postponed, so I didn't see the reddest time of red leaves in Benxi. But later, I found that my friends who came to Guanmen Mountain a few days later met many leaves, so I felt less sorry. No matter how many concerns there are, it is better to set out realistically.
It seems that looking at the red leaves here is also very demanding on the time. I estimate that red leaves are the reddest, and they can't be dropped for only three or four days every year.
Although this time I came to the Northeast for a short time, I didn't experience the late autumn trip in the Northeast, but I finally got a taste of the red leaves here, which are actually redder than I expected.
And after so many unpleasant things in 2020, it should be enough to enjoy red leaves once this autumn.
Having experienced the extreme red in the northeast, I think I will go to Guangwu Mountain and Qinling Mountain to see the red leaves in the future, which should be easier.
