Natural Wonders Series

Iceland

In addition to being a hot spot for watching the aurora, Iceland is also a good place to take wedding photos. Iceland’s geography has a unique natural landscape, with glaciers and volcanoes intertwined. To be honest, you don’t need to go to any scenic spots. You can just park your car on the side of the road, under the golden sunshine, with the distant mountains and tundra on the ground as the background. Can take enviable photos. But it’s rare to come from afar, so of course you can’t miss the dreamy and iconic local attractions.

General tourism will recommend attractions such as the J?kulsárlón glacier lagoon and the basalt columns of the black sand beach of Reynisfjara Beach; however, these attractions are crowded with tourists and are not suitable for wedding photography, so this time I will introduce lesser-known locations. , allowing you to slow down and take photos easily, without having to rush around to avoid the crowd.

The first recommendation is Bruarfoss Blue Secret Waterfall. This aqua-blue waterfall is elegant and delicate. The reason why there are fewer tourists is purely because its location is difficult to find. The waterfall is hidden on Route 37. Travelers who plan to go there must be prepared in advance and read the map several times before setting off. This video will also give you a clear introduction to how to get there.

The second secret is the Háteigskirkja church in Reykjavik with four small Gothic-style black spire towers. Although the chapel is not famous, it is conveniently located (near Golden Circle). The pure white exterior wall with the slender charcoal black spire is like a building in a fairy tale book. There are fewer tourists, so you can safely pose and take photos slowly.

Tips: Iceland has short daylight hours in winter, and the weather is unpredictable and often windy, so it is recommended to shoot in summer when the daylight hours are long.

Antelope Canyon, USA

Have you already been to Iceland and don’t want to repeat your steps? Then why not go to Antelope Canyon in Arizona, USA! This is private land within a conservation park and you must apply for permission in advance for filming. Although it sounds like a bit of trouble, once you look at the photos of the place, you will know that it is worth the trouble. The light reflects bright and varied colors on the stone walls with unique and beautiful textures. The beauty of nature is definitely not something that can be matched by indoor photography.

The road into Antelope Canyon is not smooth, especially the Lower Antelope Canyon, which is located underground. It is recommended that the newlyweds wear comfortable shoes. The bride can also choose a lighter wedding dress, or even a simple white jumpsuit. Wear a skirt with white shoes as an alternative.

Please refer to the official website of the canyon to apply for a filming permit.

Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia

Newcomers who like the beauty of nature can also choose to go to Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia. Plitvice Lakes National Park. The park is as beautiful as a fairyland. The waterfalls in the park produce negative ions, which will instantly make you feel cheerful and look naturally pink without heavy makeup.
