What is the difference between a director and a cameraman?
So what are the functions of camera and director in TV program production?
1, directed by:
Responsible for the artistic sense of the whole play. From script control to scene control; Actor control; Camera light group control. . . . It's all the director's job, so the director should look at the monitor when shooting. The camera takes a suitable picture according to the director's requirements.
2. Photographer:
The cameraman's job is to control the shots needed to shoot the plot, among which the programs "Script" and "story board" of film and television drama types are very clear. The photographer's job is to finish shooting the scenes in the script.
Photographers need to control:
1, shooting scene, picture composition
2, lens use, aircraft position setting
3. Chromaticity and contrast of the picture
4, the speed of moving the lens

To meet the director's requirements for the picture.
As you can see here, both the director and the cameraman need to control the picture, so many cameramen can be directors in the end.
