Extended data

Cinnamomum camphora is selected as raw material. The trunk and root of Cinnamomum camphora contain 2%-4% camphor and camphor oil respectively, and the branches and leaves contain 1%-3% respectively. The older the tree, the higher the content. Bitter chunks contain more camphor, while spicy ones contain more camphor oil.

It is best to collect in autumn, when the leaves have high brain content. When picking leaves, leave 16 leaves per plant, and it is appropriate to be more than 30 years old. The cut branches and roots should be sliced, with a width of 2.5cm, a thickness of 1cm and a length of 1cm.
