Art candidates may not be transferred to non-art majors after admission. In recent years, the Notice on Doing a Good Job in the Enrollment of Art Majors in Colleges and Universities clearly emphasizes that candidates admitted according to the enrollment method of art majors may not transfer to other majors after enrollment. In other words, if you are admitted to an art major as an art student at the time of admission, then you cannot transfer to a non-art major.

Restrictions on art students In 2009, the Ministry of Education issued another document to clean up and review the enrollment behavior of various non-art majors according to art categories. Since 20 1 1 major in social work, educational technology, primary education, cooking and nutrition education, secretarial education, Chinese language and literature, editing and publishing, digital media technology, urban planning, landscape architecture and tourism management.

20 1 1 Art disciplines were approved, and majors that did not grant art degrees, such as radio and television journalism, advertising, gem and material technology, industrial design, and architecture, withdrew from the art examination circle; 20 14 preschool education is also excluded from the scope of art examination.

For four majors that can be awarded art degrees, such as art education, fashion design and engineering, landscape architecture, and cultural industry management, it is stipulated in document 20 14 that students can continue to be enrolled according to art categories, but school examinations cannot be organized separately, and the scores of cultural admission should not be lower than the batch control line of ordinary majors in colleges and universities.
