The ancient town of Meicheng has had the custom of dragon dancing since ancient times. Dragon dancing performances will be held on the Dragon Boat Festival, the Spring Festival, February 2nd and some major festivals to pray for peace and a bumper harvest.

During the period, people who listened to the dragon dance said that these dragon dance performances were all voluntary public welfare activities organized by them, and they would come here to perform dragon dance every major festival, and the words "2002" and "Dragon" would be marked on the scene.
