For students majoring in automation, your advantages in UAV research lie in control algorithm, signal processing, host design and so on. In this respect, we can do some research on attitude self-stabilization technology of UAV under small disturbance. Signal processing includes signal screening, denoising and information fusion. Because UAV uses a large number of sensors to collect all kinds of attitude information and flight information of aircraft, there is a lot of research space in signal processing, and there are a lot of literatures in this field at home and abroad. You can screen the directions you are interested in for research. To put it bluntly, the upper computer design here is to design a ground application software, so that the ground operators can intuitively see all kinds of flight information during the flight of the drone through the computer screen, record and even directly control the flight state of the drone, which requires some upper computer design software (such as labview is very good) and database knowledge.
