LYDAR, what's the lens?
Lidar system is one of the high-tech systems in recent years, which obtains three-dimensional data on the ground through airborne laser scanning. Lidar system is an advanced active sensing system, which emits controlled laser to illuminate the ground and targets on the ground, independent of the sun's light. Therefore, it is a system that can obtain three-dimensional data on the ground around the clock. Compared with traditional measurement methods, it has the advantages of high precision, high density, high efficiency and low cost. The powerful post-processing technology of the system can separate the ground from the vegetation and buildings on it, and obtain DTM, DSM and vegetation parameters at the same time.
The widely used fields and examples of its technology: laser detection and ranging system;
Using MODIS satellite and lidar remote sensing data to study atmospheric aerosol pollution in Hong Kong;
Used in military and industry;
Three-dimensional ocean surveillance;
