Which city does Gu'an County belong to?

Gu'an County belongs to Langfang City, Hebei Province. Gu'an has an advantageous geographical location. In ancient times, it was known as "at the feet of the emperor", and today it is known as the "Pearl of Southern Beijing". Gu'an is the "first-line" frontier area for Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei to implement the "first-line and two-part" strategy, and is also an important fulcrum for the "Big Three Points" group of Langfang's urban construction. It has been awarded titles such as "Hometown of Hot Spring in China", "Hometown of Chinese Folk Culture and Art" and "Hometown of Mineral Water in China" by relevant national departments.

Gu'an County has a long history. During the Tang, Yu and Xia Dynasties, Shang Dynasty belonged to Ji and You. According to "Chronology of the Bamboo Book", "Geography of the Former Han Dynasty", "Shui Jing Zhu" and related historical materials, King Wu of Zhou appointed Yin and granted Duke Zhao to Yan, and the area belonged to the State of Yan.

Gu'an is rich in natural resources, including geothermal heat, mineral water, natural gas and other natural resources. The total geothermal area is 108 square kilometers, the hot water reserve is 1.3 billion cubic meters, the outlet temperature reaches about 80 degrees on average, the oil reserves are 18 million tons, and the natural gas reserves are 4.1 billion cubic meters.

In 2015, Gu'an was the only city in Hebei on the list of the top ten most innovative county economies in the country, ranking first. In March 2021, Gu'an County was awarded the 2020 Hebei Province Village Cleaning Action Advanced County.
