This is my eighth visit to Hunchun. Every time I come, I feel new and love Hunchun more and more. I am speaking here today on behalf of the International Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS). First of all, I would like to sincerely thank the Hunchun Municipal Government for giving WCS an opportunity to speak on such an important occasion as Hunchun. At the same time, my speech today is also from the heartfelt words of a China person who loves Hunchun and Northeast Tiger. WCS is a non-profit international conservation organization with a history of more than 65,438+000 years. Headquartered in New York State, WCS is currently engaged in the protection of wild animals and their habitats in 64 countries around the world. In China, our work sites include the protection and sustainable utilization of plateau ecosystem in Qiangtang, Tibet, the control of wildlife consumption and trade in South China, and the wild release of alligators in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. The protection of Siberian tiger is the focus of WCS China project in the past 20 years and for a long time to come. Today, WCS is the first speaker on this important occasion. This is not to say that WCS is the most important tiger protection unit in Hunchun. The most important units are the units and individuals who will speak later, including Hunchun Northeast Tiger National Nature Reserve, Hunchun Municipal Government and everyone present in Hunchun City.

I have been to many countries because of protection work, and I have been to many beautiful places like Hunchun. Many places take eco-tourism as their development goal.
