What are the precautions for architectural photography?

Matters needing attention in architectural photography:

1. When taking architectural photos, it is necessary to prevent the deformation caused by the tall building and the upward projection of the lens. Generally, professional cameras are used, and the lens and film can be adjusted to various angles. There are two kinds of cameras: one is that the lens can move up and down, left and right, and the leather cavity of the fuselage can be adjusted accordingly with the movement of the lens; The other is to use a perspective correction lens (PC), also known as an off-axis lens, which can move in the direction perpendicular to the lens axis.

2. If you don't have a professional camera, you can also shoot with a wide-angle lens. Wide-angle lens will change the perspective effect, and the lens axis should be parallel to the ground when shooting.

3. Pay attention to the relationship between buildings when showing the whole picture of buildings.

4. Frontal angle shooting is suitable for expressing the scale and symmetrical structural characteristics of buildings, but it lacks depth. When oblique angles are used, it can show the depth and three-dimensional sense of the building.

5. When shooting, the camera should be straight, and it is not allowed to tilt up and down.

6. When the front is illuminated, the illumination received by the building is general, the light is dim and weak, and there is no three-dimensional sense. When the sun shines at 45, the contrast between light and shade is sharp and the three-dimensional sense is strong, which is generally suitable for shooting in the morning or evening.

7. When shooting the interior decoration of a building indoors, if the light at the scene is too dark, you can use a tripod for long exposure.

8. When the indoor light is too dim, it is difficult to use the exposure meter to take side photos. You can measure the brightness of a piece of white paper instead, then multiply the side light number by 4, and then expose it with the new value. When the camera is fixed on a tripod, the flash can be used to achieve multi-lamp effect, but it is necessary to accurately calculate the value of each exposure.

9. To achieve the effect of photo particles, slow film and soft developer can be used to reduce the contrast.
