Is it feasible to improve the high-quality D800 and reduce the shooting size?

Up to 36.3 million pixels, D800 doesn't care about reducing some pixels at all, but if it can achieve good high-sensitivity performance, it can undoubtedly further broaden the application range of D800. With this question, the author makes a simple comparison between L size and M size of Nikon D800 and Nikon D4 and D3s shooting the same scene.

From the above picture, it is obvious that D3s has the best high sensitivity performance. I saw the DxOMark test results show that D4' s high sensitivity performance is not as good as D3s'. Judging from the author's test results, it is found that it is true. But to get to the point, the L-code and M-code samples of D800 are the protagonists.

By comparing the two, the author thinks that the high-sensitivity performance of D800 is better than that of L-size shooting in M-size shooting, but the progress is too small and meaningless.

In another scene, under the sensitivity of ISO 1600, the M size of D800 is slightly better than the L size, but there is almost no substantial difference. However, there is still a big gap between the high-quality photos taken by D800 in D4 in any mode.

So the conclusion is that it is not feasible for D800 to get better high photosensitivity by reducing the screen size. If you pursue high performance, buy D4 honestly.
