China's first camera

China's first camera: "Yue Xian" camera.

In the "3R Old Camera Exhibition Hall" in Ningbo, the first "Yue Xian" brand camera, also known as "Yue Xian of Wiener", was designed and manufactured by China people in the mid-1940s. This is the first mass-produced camera in China, made by Shanghai Weiner Film Equipment Factory, 1947.

Its designer is Mr. Zheng Chonglan from Yinjiawan Village, Dongqianhu Town, Yinzhou District, and he is also known as the "father of domestic cameras". Zheng Chonglan, 1893, from Yinjiawan Village, Dongqianhu Town (formerly Mozhi Town), Yinzhou District. He was an early cinematographer in China and the designer and manufacturer of the first camera and the first cinematograph in China.

From 65438 to 0947, with the strong support of Shanghai Kunlun Film Company, Zheng Chonglan expanded Weiner Photographic Instrument Factory into Weiner Film Equipment Factory, and jointly developed the first 35mm electric sound film camera in China with Weiyun Wu and Zhu Jinming, which laid the foundation for the establishment of China photographic equipment industry.
