Organization setup of Department of Geographic Information Science of Nanjing University

The Department of Geographic Information Science and the International Institute of Earth System jointly develop disciplines and share academic resources. The Department of Geographic Information Science has the Institute of Geographic Information System and Remote Sensing, the Geographic Information System and Remote Sensing Laboratory, the Earth System Science Laboratory, the Image Processing Laboratory, the Photogrammetry Laboratory, and the Geographic Information Technology Teaching Laboratory, and has jointly established the Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of Jiangsu Institute of Geography and Ocean Science with related disciplines. The Earth System Science Data Integration and Analysis Service Center is affiliated to the International Institute of Earth System Science.

20 1 1 With the approval of the National Remote Sensing Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, this discipline and the Nanjing Institute of Geography and Lakes of the Chinese Academy of Sciences established the Jiangsu Business Department of the National Remote Sensing Center, which belongs to Nanjing University.
