I work in a government department and usually take photos of various meetings. Would you please turn on the flash when you stand close and take a close-up of the leader's speech?

It is best not to use flash when shooting the leader's speech, because since flash is used, it means that the light is not good. When you flash, the leader will be invisible in a short time. If he reads the manuscript and can't see the words, what do you think is in his heart?

And different leaders have different views on the flash, and you can't ask them one by one, but it can be said that most leaders hate being flashed when they speak. Even if you use the flash when he is not talking, he won't be particularly upset at that time. When he was talking, his eyes suddenly lit up, and then there was a short adaptation time. In the meantime, he can't see, and no one is feeling well, right?

In fact, it is very troublesome to take pictures of the leaders. Some leaders cooperate and adjust their posture when they see photos. However, I rarely encounter this kind of situation, most of them are self-care, and some of them are "dizzy". It's natural not to take pictures of him. When I see you approaching with a camera, it is very difficult to blink or tilt your neck, so I basically wait there with a camera when they are not talking. Anyway, there are so many people who don't know who you are shooting, and habitually think that you are shooting the leader who is talking, so he will not be so nervous and the photos taken will be natural.

From a technical point of view, you can shoot with high sensitivity when the light is dark, so you can basically use the shutter speed of 1/60. As for the aperture, use the maximum aperture if the lens is good, and F5.6 is enough if the lens is not good. I wonder what model you use? If it is a SLR, the sensitivity of 1600 is generally enough to take a clear photo of the leader. Canon and Nikon have good noise control ability at high sensitivity. Other Sony SLR can also use 1600. Other brands don't know that they haven't used it. If it is not the high sensitivity of SLR, the picture quality may be a little worse, but there is also a remedy, which is to set the photo format to raw format. As for how to set it up, you can read the instructions. This format of photos has two levels of exposure error adjustment, which can be basically adjusted in the later stage. If you use a very common card machine that doesn't even support the raw format, then I suggest you apply to the leader for a replacement. Otherwise, you really can't shoot it without a flash.
