So, what is the life experience of Master Hayden? Is it true or not that his martial arts skills are unique?

Hardship and youth

Shi Haideng was originally named Fan Jinghe, 190 1, a native of Jiangyou, Sichuan. His father is a tailor, and he barely supports the whole family with that thread. Because of poverty, Fan Jinghe has developed a hard-working character since childhood.

At the age of 5, Fan Jinghe unfortunately lost his mother; At the age of seven, he began to learn martial arts with his uncle. Clever and diligent, he always learns what moves quickly and lays a good foundation for martial arts. It was also at this time that he fell in love with martial arts and literature. /kloc-When he was 0/2 years old, his father was killed by a local bully, and Fan Jinghe became an orphan. His young mind was overshadowed, and he was determined to practice martial arts hard and avenge his father one day.

Fan Jinghe, whether in a private school or at school, maintained a curious attitude and was admitted to Mianyang Nanshan Normal School all the way, becoming the youngest student with the best grades. During school, in order to earn living expenses and tuition, he helped the teacher to correct his homework and wrote articles for the newspaper. In his busy studies and hard life, he never forgot to practice martial arts.

19 18, Fan Jinghe was admitted to the Sichuan National Police Commissioner School with the first place. During college, Fan Jinghe practiced martial arts in the morning, attended classes during the day and studied poetry at night. In addition, he studied medicine with pharmacist Li, and his life gradually stabilized. But because I have been living a poor life, my constitution is thin.

Later, Fan Jinghe changed his name to Fan Wubing, hoping to be disaster-free and disease-free. Because I yearned for a strong body and was eager to avenge my father, I visited famous teachers everywhere and accidentally met Wang Tiquan, the instructor of Sichuan Army, and worshipped him as a teacher to learn more advanced martial arts. A few years later, I returned to Chengdu, lived in my classmate's house and made a living by writing articles.

The youth of sea lanterns is like fallen leaves floating on the sea, but even stormy waves can't tear it apart. The texture of leaves usually contains great energy.

Convert to Buddhism

Life is like an endless road, there is no end in sight, but sometimes the turning point of life is unpredictable.

1928, Fan Wubing met a Shaolin stunt master in Sichuan. He was deeply attracted by the martial arts he performed and wanted to play with him for a few days. However, Master Feng Ru told him that to learn Shaolin Wushu, one must be a Shaolin disciple, and 32 oil lamps must be lit on one's chest for the Buddha, so as to practice martial arts with him.

Fan Wubing followed closely, learning Shaolin Kung Fu from another master. Under the careful guidance of the monk, his kung fu has improved a lot.

Later, Fan Wubing wanted to enter Songshan Shaolin Temple from Huilongguan to learn the orthodox Shaolin Juexue. However, Master Zhenjun of Shaolin Temple thought he was full of Jianghu spirit and refused to accept him.

A few years later, Fan Wubing was introduced to Zhaojue Temple and officially ordained as a monk, known as Hayden. He taught Chinese and martial arts to all monks in the temple and learned more advanced Zen methods from the abbot.

After the death of the original abbot of Zhaojue Temple, Hayden became the new abbot. Hayden traveled around famous mountains, taught martial arts, wrote many poems, printed spells every day, and persisted in practicing martial arts. Monks in Buddhism all know that Master Hayden is a monk with both civil and military skills, and they all admire him.

1946, Haideng once again entered the Shaolin Temple in Songshan. At this time, he was a professor of martial arts and stayed in Shaolin Temple for seven days and seven nights, which made a sensation.

During his stay in Shaolin, he wrote poems, presided over many lectures, preached and dispelled doubts for monks, and persisted in studying literature, medicine and Buddhism, all of which made great achievements. At the same time, while insisting on practicing martial arts, he practiced many kungfu stunts such as "Two Fingers Zen", arhat boxing and plum blossom palm, which made many people gasp in admiration.

Because of his profound accomplishments in martial arts, Hayden was often invited to participate in many martial arts competitions and performances, and his fame gradually accumulated. Over the years, he sought advice, gave lectures, spread martial arts and practiced, and made every effort to inherit Zen and Shaolin martial arts.

Once popular/popular

1979, the 77-year-old sea lantern accidentally stepped onto the movie screen. Invited by a film crew, he led his disciples to Baoguang Temple and performed Shaolin stunts such as "Two Fingers Zen" and "Childlike Skills" in front of the camera, which attracted many people in the temple to learn martial arts from him.

After the film documentary was released, people were surprised to see that the elderly Shaolin master could easily stand on his head with two fingers, so there was an upsurge of Shaolin Kung Fu in the society, and people came to learn martial arts from Master Hayden in an endless stream.

Master Hayden instantly became the focus of media reports, and various media went to the temple to interview the master. To a great extent, Master Hayden has become a symbol of Shaolin Wushu, which is all the rage and almost everyone knows it. Because of his great fame, he also served as a teacher in the army and gave martial arts guidance.

1987, two TV series The Legend of the Sea Lantern and The Master of the Sea Lantern came into being. Later, someone even wrote a book "Biography of Master Hayden" to "record" his life legend. Film, television and literature have pushed the fame of sea lanterns to the peak and made them famous overseas. Some foreign media invited him to teach abroad, but he refused.

After becoming famous, Hayden continued to preach Buddhism and teach martial arts until/kloc-0 died of cancer in 989, and the life of a great master came to an end.

A surge in abuse

However, after the death of Master Hayden, the voice of doubt surged, and he kept swearing behind his scenery, trying to break his image as a monk.

First of all, Jing Yongxiang, a famous journalist, published a long reportage in a well-known newspaper, saying that the sea lantern was a packaged liar, which was reprinted by dozens of domestic media at once, causing a sensation, and what kind of person the real sea lantern master was became confusing.

Jing Yongxiang pointed out that Hayden was 77 years old when he filmed Sichuan Adventures, and he was too weak to complete the two-finger Zen handstand. He produced evidence to prove that the photographer at that time testified that the sea lamp did use Weiya when shooting. He also said that Hayden had money before his death because of packaging hype.

Secondly, Hayden said that his master was Master Feng Ru, a monk in Shaolin Temple. People found that there was no such figure as Feng Ru among the monks in Shaolin Temple, and the problem of learning Hayden became confusing. The perfect image of this respected master has been shattered in the eyes of many people.

Last time, it was pointed out that the sea lantern was not the abbot of Shaolin Temple at all, but just for fame and fortune, which really tarnished the monk's reputation.

For all kinds of surging questions and abuse, the Dead Sea Lamp has long been unable to show his story, but his disciples are angry about it. The disciples took Jing Yongxiang to court and accused him of slandering the teacher's reputation.

They said that Master did use external forces when filming the documentary, but it was really because he was old that the finger meditation was too dangerous. However, when he was young, it must have been easy to complete such actions, and his martial arts accomplishments are obvious to all. But Master was thrifty, charitable and never rich. This is naked slander. ...

The tug-of-war of this lawsuit lasted for ten years, and finally Jing Yongxiang lost the case. In the newspaper, I eliminated the influence for Master Hayden and apologized, so Master Hayden's reputation was saved.

As for the abbot of Shaolin Temple, it was later pointed out that Hayden's temporary residence in Shaolin Temple caused the misunderstanding. Someone made it up without knowing the truth, and everyone believed it, but he never said so himself. At that time, the real abbot of Shaolin Temple was also dissatisfied with this and expelled Hayden and his disciples from Shaolin Temple. As for the problem of learning sea lanterns, there is nothing to say. ...

Why on earth did the sea lamp suffer such doubts after its death? This is related to the media and writers' hype for their own self-interest, while the public ignores these and focuses on pursuing the "truth" they want. This is really a great irony.

For Master Hayden, who enjoyed his success for a while, he must not be a monk who paraded through the city. His contribution to the inheritance of Wushu and Buddhism cannot be ignored. However, the great aura he created in his later years made people forget that he was originally just a monk who wanted to be poor and enjoy himself, and wanted to carry forward Shaolin Temple.
